Took advantage of a 50% off on entrees for early bird diners on the night of the final POTUS debate. Ahi appetizer is a winner. Very tasty. Tried the shrimp & grits. Excellent. Tasso ham chunks puts this dish on a higher plane. Will be looking for similar promos in the future.

We love Silo, especially their prix fixe menu, which is offered weekdays from 5:30-6:45, reservations required. Try the oysters which are phenomenal, as is their coconut cream pie (made in house.) they offer half price wine on their bottles but I forgot which night that is. We pair the half price wine with the prix fixe and we have a... More

The food was excellent as was the service. Very nice casual atmosphere. The special was a red fish which two of us purchased and it was great.

Consistently delivers excellent food and service in a polished but not stuffy atmosphere. The original location, on Austin Highway, is a local treasure with an elegant yet cozy setting and attentive service. The crab cakes are divine. I also enjoy the cocktails, veggie sides, and house-made gelato. The other locations all operate in a similar manner, with an entrance at... More

This was my first visit to Silo. This is a nice restaurant. I ordered the Pecan Crusted Chicken Breast with Andouille Jambalaya Rice and Sautéed Spinach. The chicken was delicious! The jambalaya rice was okay and the spinach was pretty good. They do not have sweet tea- shame. The service was lacking. I ordered Black Currant unsweet tea and when... More

My wife and I went to the Silo at the IH10 location for our 50th anniversary. I had a steak which I ordered medium rare but which was medium well! My wife had an expensive lobster dinner and was rewarded with diarrhea at 1 AM. The service was so-so though every one was quite friendly. I won't ever go back.... More

Great service and a delicious menu. We had the signature oysters and ahi tuna appetizers. Both were great. For dinner we had venison, nicely seasoned and smokey. A nice bottle of Virginia Dare Pinot Noir. We'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed our meal at Silo Elevated on 1604&Blanco. From the movement we arrived at the door the service was impeccable. Very pleasant, not over the top but, very good. It set a nice tone for the evening. After placing our order with a waiter who was extremely knowledgeable of the menu we were given an assortment of bread. All... More

It is Culinaria week (Restaurant week) in San Antonio and Silo has a great variety on their lunch menu for $15. I started with the Chicken Fried Oyster appetizer followed by Sun Dried Tomato crusted Trout and finished with Key Lime pie. This paired with a great wine choice made a rainy Sunday afternoon a great day. This restaurant is... More

My wife and I really like this place. Food has always been great, friendly staff and managers. Small area for actual dining that can get loud at times. Good bar down stairs. Clean kitchen, I know since I am one of their vendors.
