This is on my top ten list. From the moment you enter this repurposed convent you are charmed by the high ceilings, wood floors and large windows. The 5 or so dining rooms are light and airy yet warm because of all the wood embellishments....More

Nice menu with several daily specials. All breads, pies, ice cream etc made in house. A variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, fish, beef and vegetarian dishes servied with lots of panche and style. Best Margaritas in town. Free parking too. You won't be disappointed .

For many years, the Liberty Bar has been one of our go-to places for drinks and food when we are in San Antonio. I really liked the old place, but it did seem that it could simply fall over at any moment, so the new...More

I dined here two years ago. Love the history of the restaurant and the building. When I dine out I like to order something that is difficult to cook at home. Chile Rellino is of those dishes. I have had the Chile Rellino three times...More

The cream of mushroom soup can be missed. Mostly a cup of cream with sliced mushrooms in it. The lamb sausages were dry and so was the chocolate cake. Friends like the cheese sandwich and heirloom tomato salad. Very look inside when they get large...More

Went to the Liberty Bar based on reviews and location. The King William area is so great but the food at Liberty was tasteless and dry. I had the lamb platter for 16 dollars. My son had the lamb burger and my husband the pork...More

This restaurant is very charming, with two floors - the bar is on the second floor, but there are tables for dinning there as well. There is an elevator directly to the second floor, where we ate away from the bar. This area of San...More
