I was looking forward to eating there but the service was bad and the food was worse. I'm not that picky either. The food tasted old and reheated. The place was in great disrepair and just felt dirty. Not recommended at all.

Hard to review. We had a really good meal, but things weren’t quite right. The waiter didn’t know much about the wines, or how to serve them. We had a great view, but at an area that needed to be cleaned up. If it was...More

First time here in years. It does need a bit of a facelift and some updating but lunch was good. Had the special of Steel Head Trout, braised potatoes and fresh green beans. The trout skin had cooked a bit too long and was very...More

A staple of San Antonio for a long time. Great food, great wine selection, great bakery. Never seems overly crowded, the weights of days of old seem gone. Which is sad, as they have some amazing food.

Worst meal ever. Bad service, bad food, bad menu, silverware was dirty and old food stuck to the plate. When the lady pored more water there were bugs in it. The waitress kept apologizing for the delays and told us that she tried telling the...More

I am sorry you had a bad experience. It seems you found us on a bad day as our staff is trained to be helpful with selecting a bottle of wine. I'm not sure what a cheap wine glass is, short of serving wine in...More

We took our friends to eat here for their first time tonight for a special celebration and something has definitely changed for the worst. Francois what has happened to your recipes? The champagne sauce tasted like thick white gravy that needed thinning and salt. No...More

What a great find! Kathy could not have been better! We felt it was a great value. For $15 had a fresh salad, eggs Benedict (with a side of fresh green beans and potatoes) and warm bread and rolls. 3 egg omelet and hamburger were...More

What a great find. We stumbled on this super little place driving to and from the rehab facility my father was at. We lived in Europe for the past 20 years and haven't found any place here that comes close to the traditional dining experiences...More

Had a groupon so gave this place a try. Needs a facelift on the outside, but inside was very nice (although smelled a bit musty). Checked outside dining which had an ok view of some woods, but you sat in plastic chairs which were not...More
