Inspired by the union of old and new worlds, Ocho at Hotel Havana offers two unique spaces for dining and drinks on the Museum Reach of the River Walk in San Antonio. The upstairs Ocho dining room, situated in a glass and steel conservatory reminiscent of a birdcage, opens onto the river and offers seating both indoors and outdoors. The downstairs lounge provides a dimly candlelit gathering place with velvet couches and antique leather club chairs suited for intimate meetings and secret rendezvous. Ocho at Hotel Havana presents a food, cocktail and wine menu that is rooted in the hotel's pan-Latin cultural influences. Ocho offers inventive menus for breakfast (voted among the Best in Texas by

Ocho is not just a comfortable and inviting restaurant, it has delicious food, great staff, and awesome drinks. Thanks to staff for making us feel so welcome the 4 days we ate or drank at your beautiful restaurant!

We went early for a reservation and were told it was fine and we're seated right away (at the TINIEST table you have ever seen which was slanted but not wobbly at about a 30% angle). They brought water right away then never came back...More

Breakfast is on until 11am and we’d just done the Alamo and wanted somewhere quietist for a brekkie. Really nice place on the river walk, we ate inside which was a little chilly but we didn’t want the mosquitoes to get us! I took the...More

After sightseeing all day, this beautiful glass conservatory connected to the Hotel Havana was a wonderful spot to spend happy hour. From here you overlook the Riverwalk in a nice, tall, open and bright space. During happy hour we drank five dollar Mojito‘s and ate...More

We sat back for a relaxing break from the Riverwalk. The atrium was serene and nostalgic. Looking for a local drink our server made a few great suggestions although nothing was on draft. Chips were thick and fresh and the pickled carrots were our favorite...More

We made an outdoor reservation. When we were seated, we were seated in a corner table right next to the kitchen. It was very loud right next to the kitchen door and at one point there was even a class broke near the door that...More

We went the first day and they said it was basically reservation only so we made reservations for the next day. The next day we showed up 10 minutes early and were seated and soon ordered our food. After an hour we realized we weren't...More

This restaurant is tucked away on the Riverwalk in a boutique hotel. It was a little tough (for us anyway) to find. Once we found it, though we were NOT disappointed!!! The food and service were excellent (try the Cuban Hash & Eggs). The atmosphere...More

It wasn't very long ago that Ocho was a pretty good restaurant. These days the food quality has suffered quite a bit. My wife and I have had dinner here several times before and it was good - not great - but good. Recently we...More

Don't know for sure, but I can't imagine there would be phone/photo restrictions at Ocho. It's a small covered patio dig that looks over the Riverwalk with all-outdoor lighting.
