Arrived with 13 hungry people and our internet reservations had gone astray but they put us on the patio and we had a wonderful and fun dinner. The food was amazing. My husband is a spaghetti and meatballs connoisseur and he proclaimed his dish the best. My calzone was so good I didn't even use the sauce on it. Other... More

Met here for a graduation party with 15 people. Even with a large group the staff was able to keep up. The menu was huge! I got the meatball sandwich, which came on homemade focaccia bread. Had to be eaten with a fork, but otherwise was robust and flavorful. The chicken alfredo was great also. I especially liked the cheese... More

I arrived in San Antonio without having breakfast and was starving. GUILLERMOS was recommended by the hotel staff. The place is easy to miss because it look like a run down building, a hole in the wall. There are some signs outside which identified the place. After entering you order your food at the counter which is then brought to... More

Went there late at night, not many people there. The staff were friendly, the pizza was way too much for two people. We had a large and probably left a 3rd of it. Maybe because the large beers we ordered didn't leave enough room. The food was good, atmosphere was relaxing. Really like easy going places like this.

This restaurant was a block behind our hotel and we could see the umbrellas from our parking area. We walked over and just loved the place. The food was excellent, the service was the best I have seen in a while. The piano player on the deck kept us entertained the whole time and even came over and took a... More

Went there at 4:45 in the afternoon on Thursday. Parked in the rear lot, very few customers there yet. Could not get in the handicapped ramp, it had a chain across the entrance. Made it up to the outdoor dining deck but it was another 4 steps down and then back up to the dining room. We all thought the... More

To our readers. Our last health inspection last week was an A+ or 97 and we historically hace scored very well if not perfect 100 scores. Converting two 100+ year old homes into a large locally owned restaurant continues to be challenging. The AC filters are continously cleaned by our repair and maintenance man however Kwickdraw was correct, the outside... More

We found Guillermo's on a Saturday afternoon after attending a Jazz SA Live! performance. My husband and I both ordered from the salad menu, thinking we'd get something small. They were so big we both ended up bringing boxes home for dinner. But neither of us wanted to leave anything behind because the salads were that good! I had the... More

First visit based on TA Reviews. Ordered and provided credit card in advance at a little window in the entryway. Self serve tea in plastic cup. Find your own table. Only table available was quite wobbly and propped against the wall for support. Had the turkey, bacon, avocado on focaccia with a small side bow tie pasta salad. Excellent taste... More

To our readers. Lunch service during the work week is self serve. You order at the counters, usually serve your own drink, grab your own utensils, and can even clean your own table. I believe our reviewer even considering we have a server is a compliment ( I do not know what he was "chatting" about but it could of... More

Just paid $15 for salad from Guillermo's to go. There's a bunch of rotten lettuce -- at least that's what it appears to be -- in the bottom of my salad. Fingers crossed its not insects. And I ordered the chicken mixed green salad....but there's mangos and craisins in it, which wasn't supposed to be part of this salad. Plus,... More

We are not interested in serving our customers "rotten lettuce". From your picture I see a leaf that does not meet our standards and I encourage readers to view the picture and make their own judgment. We had a managers meeting this morning and have scheduled a meeting with our distributor and inventory manager to ensure we are only receiving... More

Always pretty good food but pricing is a little too much (really they add .35 per plate per meal that's priced $11). Also service kind of spotty because they are to hip to smile. It's one of those places where you been there done that. Seating is kind of hard to find during lunch. This place is missing that one... More

Readers, their is a .35 cent to go charge which includes top quality reusable plastic containers. Our lunch ambiance is different then our dinners. We offer counter service at lunch and it can be pretty fast paced as our guest usually have to get back to work. We do understand why we need to smile Alfonso so I will remind... More
