Guillermo's Restaurant is an eclectic restaurant located in the business district of San Antonio near the Museum Reach River walk area. We serve lunch and dinner. Counter service is from 11 am until 2 pm M-F and waiter service from 2 pm until closing. Wait service on the weekends. Guillermo's morphs into a relaxed casual five star service restaurant at 5 pm. We serve primarily Italian fare but do offer selected items that would be classified as non - Italian. All of our food attempts to culturally connect to San Antonio. Our environment goal is to be calm and relaxed however our patio is intentionally designed to be more lively with with television and for sporting events and often softer live

We stopped by here for dinner and were not disappointed. They had several craft beers on tap and seating outside. Although the service wasn't quick, we suspect it was due to minimal staffing due to the current pandemic. The salads we had were fantastic, food...was quite flavorful and service was responsive enough. The seating outside was socially distanced. I wish Trip Advisor would add a category and search function for identifying what restaurants currently have outside seating. Until things settle down, I and a number of my friends are more comfortable with the outside dining versus indoor seating.More

Thank you for your review and more importantly, your observations on how the pandemic has impacted our business. Since March, our operation, our routine, our rhythm has been greatly impacted. Once we find some type of rhythm, it changes again as this pandemic disrupts Texas...More

Your wrong about the extra dollar. The masks are sold at cost. With other restaurants & bars closing again due to this second wave - Yes - Masks are required and are 85% effective according to the May 2020 Lancet journal. Fortunately a large majority...More

After careful consideration I decided to celebrate my birthday here. The many great reviews and four and a half star ratings gave me high hopes and expectations. Unfortunately, I was thoroughly disappointed. From the beginning, five out of the six people I was dining with...had small bugs and/or dirt at the bottom of our cups. We had them replaced and waited patiently for our meals. After an excruciating amount of time, we noticed people who had arrived after us get their food before we even got our appetizers. We eventually did get our meals except for my father, who waited until we were about 3/4 done with ours before they served him. My friend’s noodles were undercooked, they gave us the wrong order of wings, and they forgot my side. It was very much of a let down for a birthday dinner. There were also lots of bugs flying around making us constantly wave them off. In retrospect, the food was not worth the wait or the price. I would have much rather gone to Olive Garden. If you are looking for quality Italian food and service I highly recommend you go somewhere else.More

Came here to celebrate my sister's BDay and what a disappointing experience that was. After reading reviews we thought this would be a good place to go. Looked promising walking up, but started going downhill from there. The drinks we ordered had bugs/dirt at the...bottom of the cup. Waitress seemed like we were a little bit of an inconvenience that she had to replace them. Then we told her that we had a birthday girl and if they had anything special they could do. Instantly shot that down and said she couldn't do anything and rushed off somewhere else, which fine, they are not required to so we just ordered. Looking around there were some people who arrived a bit after we ordered, and they received all their food before we even got our appetizers. Not all of us even received our food timely. Our Dad and brother both ordered their own wing pizza and they brought out only one. They said the other will be coming out soon. It didnt. Our waitress brought out wings and said they were just sitting there so she brought them out to our dad (who was waiting on his wing pizza) so they dont get cold. They were supposed to be on top of the pizza, not brought out bc they were just sitting there. When his pizza finally came out we were all almost done eating. Pasta was still hard in spots on one plate. Other food was okay, nothing exceptionally special here. Waitress seemed to be annoyed and uncaring towards us. Every other person working didnt even bother looking our way. They require masks on workers and people walking around, but saw workers with masks lowered (what's the point?) walking around. When we got the bill at the end the waitress said she already included gratuity (which was A LOT more than deserved). I may be missing other details but overall service here was bad and food mediocre. We all agreed that we would have been happier going to Olive Garden. Have some food blogger friends and will be telling them to definitly skip this place.More

Staying at an Airbnb within walking distance so thought we’d try this restaurant. Would definitely make a drive here also. Off the beaten path, but worth it. An eclectic setting, outdoor bar / eating areas, and GREAT food!
