the food was good but the experience was ruined when a roach crawled onto my son's plate as he completed his last bite. My hubby noticed a dead roach by our table as well. when I complained they only took a few $ off of check. I would not recommend this place. If you are going to eat there just... More

This was our first taste of Puerto Rican cuisine and now I know for sure why there aren't more PR food emporiums around. These folks come from an island where plantains are abundant so they have multiple ways of serving plantains. The fact that plantains are for sure an acquired taste will influence this perspective. To start with, my little... More

Went in for a quick visit, and had the mofongo con carne frita. The guy at the cash register told me that Guy Fieri loved their mofongo as much as the "real thing" in San Juan. Guy visited the restaurant in 2012. The mofongo that I was served was probably left over from 2012, as the pork cubes were very... More

The buffet was straight out of Puerto Rico and quite authentic. I had to loosen my belt and waddle out. Unfortunately it's lunch so naps are out of the question.

We purchased a Groupon for this place, and finally went their for Lunch, 1 Jun 16! We gave the waitress our Groupon, and she said that it was only good for dinner. She then went and got the manager. The manager came out and told us the they no longer accept the Groupon. He stated that they were having trouble... More

This place has great food and great potential but they are short staffed and the place needs a little TLC. It took them 15 minutes for them to get our order and 50 minutes to them to bring us our food. The only reason why I didn't walk away was because I was craving mofongo. But while I was waiting... My company ordered catering from El Bohio for 75 people. The food was fantastic and the owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for our company event.

It was a roach. We were the first customers of the day. Meal was complimentary after the discovery of the aquatic vistor.

Visited twice this week. The " Carne Frita" with "Mofongo" was good, meat was delicious but the mofongo was too dry. Yesterday, I order "Rope Vieja" with rice and beans, again the meat was awesome but the rice and beans not. Price is not that bad.
