Recommended by a San Antonio resident. Good selections and atmosphere. Try to go during a non-peak time for faster service.

This was recommended to us by someone who had traveled and eaten there. So, we specifically went there having heard great things about the food. In San Antonio, TX in JULY their first question was whether we wanted seating inside or outside. HUH??? They do have a sizeable seating area outside and my husband noticed large cooling fans out there.... More

When I go to Two Step I usually get whatever the special being offered as it's usually something creative and different. Staff is friendly and will offer suggestions. Fried pickles are great at Two Step!

My review of this place a few years ago was rather mixed. Since then I have been here two more times, also a bit mixed. The food is very good. I ordered some side vegetable dishes which were very tasty, especially the Brussels sprouts sauted with bacon (really!). I had enough for two more meals at home, and I just... More

This is in a historic farm house and the building alone is worth a visit! Food was great too though. We tried the stuffed jalapeños which were great! They were warm! Mouth tingles for awhile! I had the catfish. It was good but not nearly as good as what others got. Hubby got the poblano bacon wrapped tenderloin with chimichuree... More

Had to flag waiter down several times because he was always visiting at one particular table. Guessed it to be friends or family of the waiter. Had the jalapeno grilled shrimp and it was good with... Recently had a wonderful dinner (awesome steak) on their outstanding patio. Great food, super service and the best outdoor patio in San Antonio.. AND award winning margaritas. A very nice wine list as well.

The brisket here was so delicious! Also had their broccoli cheese casserole, which was also amazing. Everyone was pleased with the food. Their chocolate tart.....also amazing. Great service too.
