The food is excellent! No question that that is squared away. However, the experience is marred by the pretention of the place, the slowness of the service, the size of the portions, and the price. Increase the portion size, drop the attitude, and lower your...More

I sincerely wanted to like this place. The SA food scene has a lot to be desired when compared with contemporaries in other states. Having lived on both the East & West coasts, I've been lucky enough to experience my fair share of tasting menus...More

Stunning technique and brilliant execution. Intimate setting with flawless service. Grand tasting with wine pairing takes the pressure off of some complicated dishes. I'm fairly well traveled and was in fine dining for a decade, they exceeded very high expectations.

First, the staff was superb and very attentive throughout our dining experience. You would search far and wide to find similar superb service. We loved the initial courses, especially the mushroom soup. Upfront, when we ordered the 7-course meal, a staff member asked if we...More

Small 5-star restaurant (?) offering several interesting choices with different results. The service and presentation of every dish was outstanding; low noise level, allowing for easy conversation. Located downtown with convenient valet parking, but in spite of the menu description of the offerings, which may...More
