Came down to visit with my cousin who I haven't seen in over 24 years. Being from Puerto Rico I was pleasantly surprised to see plantains as appetizers. The food had a lot of flavor profile and the burgers were huge. I had the breaded ribeye (chicken fried steak) it was pretty good. The grilled cheese was a pimiento cheese... More

Really cool speak easy type of place right on the riverwalk. We grabbed a quick drink with our daughter and enjoyed the craft cocktails and craft cider from Austin. Great spot for a nice drink!

We ate here for a quick light dinner. The bar is amazing. The longest in Texas. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. The food is all over the place with unique bar food. I had a fried baloney sandwich which I'd go back for. Great bar, great local atmosphere.

This place makes some nice hand-crafted coctails. Located on the river walk, there are a handful of seats on the outer patio that overlook the river. Try to get one of those seats if you can. Otherwise, the bar inside is quite large and you should hopefully be able to find a seat.

The wife and I had an amazing meal here. The huge, historic mahogany bar is neat. The cocktail menu is a joy to explore with ingredients you have probably never had before. It's worth a stop for cocktails alone. Our server Brian was top-notch with great recommendations. I went for the Wildcat burger. One of the tastiest and spicy burgers... More

Very neat place to see. Robert was great. We started on the patio overlooking the Riverwalk and when the sun got a little warm, we moved inside and enjoyed the AC!

There is a variety of drinks on the menu that you would most likely not be in your drink rotation however it was fun trying something different. The food was very good and the atmosphere just speaks history.

After several days in the city, we finally made it in to have a drink and some appetizers during happy hour at the Esquire. We were not disappointed. Outstanding small bites along with a good selection of local beers and some of the most knowledgeable bartenders I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with (and I have spoken to... More

The oldest bar at the river walk, we had delicious bison burgers with local beer. The place is dark, but spacious and cosy. After dinner we had a beer outside on the balcony, overlooking the river walk and the tour boats. In a way much more quiet than the rest of the area.
