Of the places we visited on the river walk, Esquire Tavern was hands down our favorite. They accommodated a group of 18 without missing a beat. There is no kids menu, however, there is plenty for kids to eat... no chicken nuggets or typical kids...More

We tried to come to this place with drinks from our hotel. Instead of kindly telling us we could not bring drinks in to this establishment, the waitress said " I'm going to have to take those." I felt she was rude and aggressive. There...More

Our first night arriving into SAT our large conference group decided on this establishment. Our group ordered the rib eye steaks, chili re llano and the fish and chips which were good. We encountered an hour wait due to the popularity of this restaurant/bar.

Killed some time here during a weekend girls trip. We sat outside overlooking the river. They have a good alcohol menu. I ordered the banana pudding. Eh, it was overpriced and not that good. Excellent location - within walking distance of most hotels on the...More

Was told by our bartender at the Emily Morgan to come here for Great Burgers and some tasty Bourbon. We weren’t let down at all. Awesome burgers!

We saw this place from our riverboat tour. It looked charming and the balcony overlooking the water seemed like a great spot, so we booked a table that evening. We were not disappointed. From the street entrance the outside of the place looks a little...More

You must be of legal age to drink, but all welcome. The food is great. I wouldn't say it's a place for a young family to visit.

I saw children there during the day. I would guess it is more of a bar crowd in the evening
