This was a buffet- I don't do buffets- so they were nice enough to bring all my items from the kitchen and fix them in front of me- another hat off for the customer service.

Can't say much about the drinks (I don't drink), but I did hang out here for a few one early evening after coming back from a little sight-seeing. The place is cozy, the atmosphere is chill and although indoors, there is a unique view of the riverwalk. We tried the Kickin' Chicken Wings and the Sweet and Spicy Ribs. Delish.... More

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the Q Kitchen/Bar at the Hyatt while on tour in San Antonio. The food was exceptionally well prepared. Enjoyed pasta with pesto and shrimp, several delicious salads, and the best sautéed fresh vegetables ever. Kept going back for more. It was such a pleasure to eat such a well prepared and healthy lunch. Service... More

Went here for Sunday morning breakfast with my family, the food was really good and our waiter was great. Being younger (9) my daughter had the best price for the full buffet and she totally took advantage of it, from cereal to scrambled eggs from the omelet bar, she thought it was great, and since she is under 12 she... Staying at Hyatt Regency on a rainy morning and opted for the lobby restaurant rather than searching out more local people's eateries as I normally would. It wasn't particularly busy at 9:30 am. We were seated promptly and morning beverages quickly provided. We both opted for the two egg dishes, rather than the buffet, which also looked real good. This... More

We had a great lunch of tacos and pizza at the Q Kitchen. the service was some of the best I have seen at a restaurant. We travel extensively and Mo was one of the best waitresses that we have experienced. The food was great, beer choices good and the service exceptional. Great place to get out of the touristy,... Sometimes I am nervous about hotel food but this restaurant does a very good job. They had a salsa appetizer tray that was wonderful. Enjoyed breakfast there as well and got room service. Every meal was done as ordered. Everything tasted good. Nice place to dine. Enough room so that you can have a conversation without feeling as though you... More

Great views of the atrium at The Hyatt Regency Hotel, generally a very quiet and relaxing bar to end the evening. On our 2nd visit to the bar there were some players from the Kansas City Chiefs that were staying at the hotel ( big game with The Texas Rangers) so it was hopping that night, we had a great... Description
No one really knows who invented barbeque. In America, it probably originated during the cattle drives of the 1800s, as chuck wagon cooks tried to tenderize inexpensive cuts of meat for the trail drivers. But the Chinese could lay claim to having a form of BBQ long before America was discovered, as well as the Romans and the Greeks. We'll never know who really invented it.

That brings us to Q Kitchen | Bar, one of the most innovative restaurants on the River Walk. We've spent quite a bit of time searching out the globe's best BBQ and brought their recipes back to our San Antonio barbeque restaurant. We've added a dash of excitement and fun to the mix, by creating an "interactive kitchen" in the dining area that lets you see how we make our barbeque. Tempted by European style rotisserie barbeque? Go for it. And as for smoked meats...well...one glance at the menu will tell you how serious we are about that. By the way, feel free to talk to our chefs while they cook. You just might get them to divulge some of our secrets.

So welcome to Q Kitchen | Bar: the pursuit of the ultimate barbeque. We've done all the hard work. You just need to sit back and enjoy. Let the journey begin.
