We were visiting family in SA and decided to roam around the Pearl. It was past lunch time, we were starving and popped into the first place we walked by. What a lucky choice. Il Sogno means the dream and the experience makes it so for diners. The water brought our water and offer a tray of sliced citrus from... More

The food was average for the price. The servers were a lil snooty as well. Kind of a turn and burn attitude if your not spending hundreds. Cesar the Mgr is not a good Mgr at all. Clueless

We took a family group of seven to Il Sogno Osteria for dinner recently. It's a lovely venue and we had a great oval table that made conversation easy. I loved the decor and the open kitchen. Our service was excellent. The salads are very large and easily shared. The antipasto was imaginative however we ordered two so it could... More

This past weekend is the second time i have visited this restaurant. The first time the restaurant was very busy, but we still had to wait 45 minutes for our food. This time there were only four tables that were occupied and we still had more than a 45 minute wait. The food is good but not worth a 45+... More

My husband and I just tried Il Sogno for the first time for our anniversary dinner. It was dreamy--both the food and the service were wonderful, and this avid foodie proclaims that it is the finest meal she has had in San Antonio for some time now. Our server Levi set a high standard for service; he was perfectly attentive... More

Almost every time I go Italian, I choose the clams and linguini. I have done this all over the country, and have been disappointed many times. Rarely am I surprised. Tonight I had the clams and linguini at Il Sogono Osteria in the Pearl District. They were simply the best I have ever had. The sauce was a cream base,... More

The food was great, the water with selected fruit and cucumbers was such a nice refreshing touch. They gave us an extra fish order and my scallops came out after everyone else was served because they redid it. I appreciate that they want it to be right and it was delicious. They did not charge us for it. But because... More

We visited the restaurant June 5, 2016. I wanted to surprise my wife since a friend told me about it a couple of months ago. After living in Sicily, Italy for 3 years it's been hard to find a really find an authentic Italian restaurant in the United States as My wife and I are always trying to compare taste... More

We chose this restaurant based on reviews and location (Pearl Brewery area). We had reservations and when we arrived were told they were "running late" and that we'd have a 45 minute wait. Eventually (after about 30 minutes) they asked if we would like to sit outside and we agreed although I wouldn't do it again as we all got... More

My wife and I came here by chance looking for a place to eat in the Pearl Brewery district. The restaurant itself is nice. The food: TINY portions, HUGE price. We shared a $14 salad that was very good. The risotto entree was tiny, despite the $26 price. The food wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad. It come down to... More
