Recommended by our AirBnBhost. Everything was fantastic. Scotch Egg appetizer was the best I’ve ever had.

We tried The Winchester Pub last night and loved it! We arrived about 9:30, there was room for seating and the music was on point! We were quickly greeted by the bartender and continued to receive attentive service throughout the evening from both the bartender...and the manager. They would chat with us for a little bit, check in on us regularly to make sure we were good and noticed on their own when our drinks were getting low or our food hadn't arrived. Now on to the food..I had read about the avocado fries, so of course I had to give them a go. Guys...for real...they are so freaking good! The flavor of the bread crumb coating was seasoned so well. The dipping sauce added that extra kick. The bartender joked that they were made with love, and you could taste it lol. My friend had the Truffle Fries and those were really good as well. Just the right amount of salt and additional seasoning. Friday is All Day Happy Hour, I repeat All Day Happy Hour..on a Friday! Who else does this?! No one. And it made the evening that much more awesome. Their house wine is $12 a bottle. They have a pretty extensive beer list that my husband enjoyed. Overall we all agreed the food, the drink selection and the great service will have us back soon. Go check it out!More

A nice friendly pub that shows premier league football matches. I went there to watch the Aston Villa V West Ham game and met up with a couple of the Alamo City Hammers who made me very welcome as a fellow West Ham fan! I...know please dont hold this against me. There are apparently a few Spurs and Liverpool fans who meet up there for games, but lets not go on about that! Beer was good, food looked good but must admit I didnt try it.More

We love The Winchester. We have been to this pub several times. It’s close to our house and we feel very much at home when we go. The owner, JR, is always willing to stop and talk to you. All of the people that work...here have been so personable. The food is great. I don’t consider what they serve just bar food. It is definitely steps above this. If you like onion rings, these are fine if the best we’ve had. The whiskey cake is amazing as are the fish and chips. It has definitely become one of favorite local spots.More

We enjoyed traditional English grub with a twist. Everything was fantastic. The service was a bit spotty but it was a crowded fri night when we visited. This is a new fav!
