If I could give 10 stars, I would! We visited at lunch with friends who are locals. We have never had such a positive experience. The service was impeccable. The food outstanding. So much fun trying the different meats. They kept replacing the potatoes because they'd gotten cold. And new silverware with each new plate. At the end we were... More

Very good service in a nice decoration and atmosphere, the extensive salad bar is really good and fresh, meats are excellent and the servers are very fast, as soon as you turn your card on green color they don;t stop to come for a large varieties of meat cooked at perfection, you have sides like plantain, mash potatoes and polenta... Most of my visits to SAT include a visit to the Chama Gaucha, the service is excellent, from the moment you go through their doors till you pay your check and leave, being a Brazilian grill, waiters walk around the tables holding huge skewers with different kinds of meat, and serve you as long as the little cardboard marker next... A family member decided that they wanted to celebrate their birthday here at dinner. We've been to this restaurant before. No doubt the food is good, salad bar is good too (a little exotic for my taste ) but nonetheless the food is 👍🏾. I'm not a big eater. They bring you tons of meats in so many varieties once... More

We love this place. Really good food and staff was very friendly. They don't sing Happy Birthday but they did offer a chocolate cake (for all you chocolate lovers) and the taste was out of this world. Definitely one of my favorite places to go to.

If you've never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse, you really have something to look forward to if going to Chama Gaucha. I worked for a large technology company in San Antonio and the guys always wanted their celebrations at Chama Gaucha. The meat is all top notch and it never quits coming, so be sure you're extra hungry. The salad... More

Salad bar has many options from cold cuts, large variety of cheeses to excellent selection of salads. Brazilian potato salad is very good. Restaurant is very spacious with quiet elegance. Service was personalized and over the top in a good way. Manager was was very hands on, wait staff could not have been more professional. Churrasco was well prepared, nicely... More

I was not a fan of their endless salad bar. I believe they said they had over 30 items in their salad bar but really nothing caught my eyes or was appetizing to me. All of their items are served cold with a wide variety of vegetables. The selection of meats was outstanding! The Garlic Beef was my favorite. All... More

The service at Chama Gaucha is amazing...the servers are attentive and seem to appear out of nowhere. We dined on a Saturday afternoon when it was not crowded but it became noisier and more crowded as the evening progressed. The salad bar was superb but there was a waiting line for it at some points. The meats varied in quality... More

This churrasqueria is comparable to 5 star churrasquerias I have dined at in Brasil. The staff genuinely cares about your dining experience. The lamb chops are outstanding, as is the bacon wrapped filet mignon. The salad bar is delicious as are the cheese rolls. A must do dining experience when in San Antonio.
