My wife and I took a trip to Mountainair today. Even though the town was small, it had many interesting restaurants. The coffee here was excellent and the service was friendly and fast! I hope to return soon 👍

We ate there after the balloon rally in Mountainair and the food for both breakfast and lunch was tasty, huge portions and delicious!! Worth it since prices are down right affordable

Stopped here for lunch and coffee. The sculpture outside attracted us. Very comfortable space. Handicap accessible. Free WiFi. Homemade soups, eggs, sandwiches.

Took 45 minutes to get our food. The fries were soggy and cold by the time we got our food. The waitress at least did apologize for the wait but never did come back after we were finally served

We stopped midmorning after leaving from Albuquerque. The ice tea and breakfast we received were so fresh and so delicious and so reasonable. The chopped green chili on top of the hue is rancheros was fresh and so tasty. The papitas, burrito and hash browns...were excellent. The service is friendly and the ambiance so laid back cool. Love this place.More

Fun menu with some unusual sandwiches, i.e. burger with pastrami and bacon, too big for one person! Nice home style sweet potato fries, thin round slices freshly fried. Delicious creamy latte.... Food order takes a little while as it’s all made from scratch when you...order. Pick a book from the loaded bookshelves and read while you wait. The books are free...kids’ books, too. Mountainair is a quiet little town in the middle of several historic Pueblo sites. The drive from Tijeras is a gorgeous winding mountain road with very little traffic.More

Very friendly service, and great food. I would highly recommend the Dustin Special, for a great lunch. I was particularly impressed by the Orange Cream soda, that they whipped up themselves.

The food here is very good. With that said there is no atmosphere, nor "ambiance" to this place. No alcohol is served, but if you want an inexpensive home-cooked meal this is very good.

Very nice cafe in the small town of Mountainair. It opens at 6am ... which is just fine with me. Any later and it is not breakfast. I was the only one there at 6am on a Friday morning. Service was prompt and courteous and...the food was great. I had the "Leroy" breakfast because it came with potatoes. Note about Mountainair: one of the less friendly places that I have ever experienced. Everyone seems to be on edge or suspicious. But the staff at the Alpine Alley was very nice and attentive.More

Faye and staff is always friendly and welcoming. Coffee is their custom blend and grind of fresh roasted beans from a roaster in Phoenix. Espresso is smooth, rich and will set your day straight! While I was there this trip, a couple form the mid-west...was raving about the pastrami sandwich. I have to agree, the Alpine Alley choice for pastrami is the best. Good vegetarian burritos. Faye and crew make everything fresh. Homemade red and green chile is outstanding, and yes, they have customers that will stop in and purchase a quart of chili.More
