If you like to wait and wait and wait for your food this is the place. Totally unorganized the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Sad to say this is only one of two small restaurants in town. Good luck if you stop at this one.PS we got up and left because we never our order filled!!

This is a small town restaurant with great people, food and friendly atmosphere. The owners are almost always on site, they greet everyone, usually know everyone, but welcome visitors. The coffee is excellent, the food is excellent and overall, a very good experience. Alpine Alley is a great place to stop when visiting the National Monument. I have been here... More

Visiting Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument, we stopped for lunch and had some of the freshest food of the trip. Great burger and chicken special with there homemade cream soda and ice tea.

I really like this place. Scott and Mary, the proprietors, do a fine job with breakfast and lunch and since they've expanded their kitchen they've expanded their offerings as well. It's a friendly place and most of hte people in it know each other, but they welcome people from out of town. Good soups, salads, sandwiches, breakfasts, desserts, and fine... More

We stayed in Mountainair and went here for breakfast and coffee. Great espresso and breakfast. Very friendly people. I wish we had stayed over the weekend when they are open for dinner.

Going from Las Cruces to 4th of July Canyon (SE of Albuquerque NM) to look at the Fall colors, we stopped at Alpine Alley for lunch. We found the people friendly, the staff attentive, the ambiance eclectic and the regulars colorful. The green chile cheeseburger was huge and tasty, and the onion rings had a thin coating and were also... More

I picked Mountainair as a day trip for lunch based on the New Mexico True website. I arrived around noon to find several places on the list closed and the chamber closed for lunch. Hungry, I started to walking the main drag in search of food to no avail. I asked a lady on the street where to eat and... More

While visiting Albuquerque, we took a day trip to the Salinas Pueblo Missions. It was lunch time and there was no phone service and we were concerned about our prospects for finding someplace to eat but luckily we stumbled upon the Alpine Alley Cafe. We were warmly greeted and had an awesome lunch of club sandwiches and homemade fries. We... More

Mary is awesome and makes all of her customers feel like friends. They have excellent breakfast burritos and great sandwiches. This is the spot for morning coffee if you are staying in the area.
