Espresso was very nice, certainly miles ahead of Starmuck and the best I've found in Salem, though not up to the world-class level available in other towns like Atomic in Beverly and Marblehead. Still, this mini-chain (two other locations in Boston) does a nice job and offers a nice selection of pastries, sandwiches, and soups in a very comfortable and... More

Staying at the Salem Waterfront Motel, this place is around the corner. Excellent latte, espresso is rich, unctuous and bold without harshness or over-roasted notes, cortado latte and cappucinos excellent. BTW, their large latte, 16 oz, has 4 shots of espresso. You won't be disappointed if you're looking for great coffee. I tried 2 sandwiches, the portobello/cheese panini and the... More

We stopped at Jaho for a quick coffee and shared pastry before a day of sightseeing. The espresso and lattes were good, rich, not over roasted, and not too milky, however, it was not 'beyond exceptional'. The pastry was not really decadent - but presentation was good. We're not fans of the huge chains, they are simple chains who rely... More

I loved this coffee and tea shop. The clerk was outgoing and helpful. They have a nice area where you can hang out and enjoy your beverages/snacks. I liked the tables out front. Their gelato is very good and the apple cake muffins are excellent. If you are looking for a snack or drink, and place to chill, this is... More

I was staying at the Salem Waterfront hotel and this is practically right next door. This place offers various sandwiches, desserts, drinks, and gelato. I would come in here and buy some desserts so I would have a quick breakfast treat before going out and checking the sights. The apple cake is really tasty and so are their gelatos.

Coffeehouse that brews its own beans. They know what they are doing! It's right off of the redline in Salem and couldn't be more better placed! Very happy and bought some dark roast to take home!

Just down the street from the Waterfront Hotel. Indoor and outdoor seating. A good selection of coffee drinks. I ordered a mocha, nothing special. It seemed to take forever to make it. The line weren't even that long. There was only 1 barista making the coffee drinks. When it was ready, it looked quite appealing. Taking the first sip, I... More

Walked around Salem and near to the wharfs found this great coffee spot with a selection of cakes and cookies which was just the thing for a hot afternoon. Very friendly staff and good coffee.

Very popular with the locals, fun range of coffee selections and treats, very fresh salads and sandwiches. A bit noisy.
