Our final stop in our family road trip was in Salem, MA anmd the town was packed from the Halloween Fest that goes thorughout the month of October. We searched for several places to eat and each one of them was packed, people waiting 45 minutes to get a table and we were both hungry and with little time, so... More

While not a huge fan of Indian food, we took guests from the far east there recently and they loved it. All of our meals were delicious and those who wanted spicy, got it!

We chose to eat here after being slighted at the Gulu Gulu cafe- glad we did!! The food and service were wonderful! I wish we had tried more of their naan varieties, but alas we did not.

My wife and I have been going to this restaurant pretty much since it opened in the early 2000's. The standard of the food has been pretty reliable over the years and we have had some very nice meals. We hadn't been for a few years and decided to call in yesterday. The restaurant was very quiet, there were three... More

We decided to try this place after exerting ourselves in an open water race at the beach. We brought our appetites and exuberance to Passage To India, but when we entered there were two men hanging out in the bar area who seemed to be working there, but never greeted us. A third man seated us with what seemed to... More

I had a mango lassi which was very good. Nice flavor and consistency. For dinner I had the chicken vindaloo and garlic naan. I was warned the vindaloo was hot and it was. I really like hot food and it was close to too hot. But it was so good. The naan was fantastic (must get a naan, any naan).

It was my 2nd time there. While my 1st visit was pleasant and the food was good, my 2nd visit was a bad experience. I went with my brother, his wife, and his daughter who were visiting from Portugal. Their 1st time eating Indian. I was trying to describe them the food and the traditional drink and the waiter rudely... More

We eat at Passage to India 8-10 times per year. The restaurant is casual and comfortable, the service is fast, friendly and helpful, but the real highlight is the food, which is consistently excellent. Vegetarian options abound, and they are all good, though the Dal Maharani and Vegetable Masala are personal favorites.

Thank Mark P
