.....If you gave these folks anything less than 5 circles/stars! This place is amazeballs. Food to accommodate any diet, seriously. FroYo for dinner? Don't worry they'll deliver it to you, too. Don't pass this amazing sandwich shop up. Quick and easy for an excellent lunch or dinner!

I went there during an excursion in Salem. Ordered a "Boston College" sandwich, found that horrible. The only motivation for which I would recommend this cafe is the following: the staff was really really nice, polite and patient! The hygiene of that place was OK, and that's enough.

My family and I took a small trip to Salem on our way to Plymouth. We went to the Witch Dungeon Museum and needed a bite to eat after. From a general tourist perspective, I would say this place is like a local Panera, but they make everything from scratch. We ordered 3 lunch pairs; 1/2 portobello mushroom panini with... More

Just the right balance of flavored, fresh bread. I ordered the Patriot the way it comes with some coleslaw. It really is like getting two sandwiches. A business visitor asked me where the good sandwich shop is that she ate at before on a previous trip. I guessed it was Cafe Kushko. I was right. Why I have not eaten... More

I love this place, for takeaway and to sit down. They make everything (not sure about bread) from scratch and the staff is unbelievably friendly. It is a great option for vegans, carnivores, and everyone in between. Their sandwiches are HUGE and fro-yo is a great alternative all the ice cream/pastry shops in town. Stop in, you won't be disappointed!

walking in and out/take out sub shop. Owner is a local and they've been in business for some time. Food is good. Order at the counter and pick up. A few tables but decor is basic.

This bar/restaurant had a mix of Asian food. The food was tasty, and there was a lot of it. I took food back to the hotel.

Falafel wrap and chicken bacon avocado sandwich were both great! The bacon was crispy and amazing, and the falafel was not over-crisp. Nice staff, too.

I always get the falafel and hummus wrap every time I come here. Hey, you can't get that everywhere! It's really good. I could eat half of one and be satisfied. The menu has other things I'd like to try, like the avocado & brie or gyro pita roll, so I need to visit Salem more often. Casual.

Consistently clean sandwiches, with a fairly high quality product. Friendly and interesting staff, and an excellent menu to select from. Even the prices are pretty reasonable, the only major drawback is that there is no parking ever. But that is something that one can contend with if you want a decent Sammy.
