Fabulous dinner! Tomatoes, burrata and basil followed by branzino with grilled vegetables. The whole thing was terrific including the chianti.

A couple of thoughts. First, It is a small restaurant, and they generally do not take reservations. Perhaps you could call them, and explain you are traveling from Australia, and have a very limited opportunity to try their fabulous restaurant. They may be willing to accommodate you given your special circumstances. I have found the people there to be very generous and accommodating, so perhaps you will find them helpful. Second, I might caution you though that being here on Oct 29, Salem will be very crazy with tourists. Perhaps you are coming here for the annual Halloween festivities, and that is great if you are. If not, be aware that the closer you get to Oct 31, the crazier Salem becomes -- the restaurants are all packed, the Common becomes a fairgrounds, and there are "haunted tours" non stop. Restaurants have less incentive to be accommodating at this time because of the huge numbers of tourists. The Friday and Saturday closest to Oct 31 are typically 'the worst'. It is generally safe, but VERY VERY crowded and busy. (if you aren't coming for the Halloween activities, I advise you to google Haunted Happenings Salem MA for some insight into what its like here) Bottom line, perhaps you can ask given your travel from Oz, but I can't say how Firenze will be in October. I live the next town over from Salem, and generally avoid Salem and its restaurants in October, particularly on weekends. Best of luck to you
