I stopped by here for a couple of slices to take back to my hotel room. To me, they were just "OK." The main reason I say this is because of the funky cheese on each piece. It wasn't the traditional mozzarella. I asked what...More

Flying Saucer Pizza is probably the best tasing pizza I've tried in Salem. The crust is thin on the bottom, thick and fluffy along the edges, which is the style I prefer. They have good sauce, use just the right amount of cheese, and have...More

Very nice place with good pizza, gluten free food, salads and drinks. Not like an Italian pizza restaurant but the food and place is as expected. Medium budget restaurant.

Glad I found this place via TripAdvisor. Great pizza! We had the traditional crust with pepperoni and sausage. Was very good. The place is cute, very quirky. Will stop again if ever in the area.

We ate at this restaurant today after a visit to Salem State. We ordered a pizza and a salad and both were excellent. The interior is funky and the service was good. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Visited this place while in the area doing the tourist thing. After ordering a 12" pizza, an appetizer and a slice we were informed that the ovens were down. This meant only slices were available. The slices we recieved were pretty good. The staff was...More

Ok this place is a little quirky! Pizzas have names like space invader. It’s a small restaurant like most things in Salem but the pizza was good staff friendly and we didn’t have a long wait before our pizza was ready.

Description
Flying Saucer Pizza Company landed in downtown Salem on the historic date of August 3, 2012 - directly next to its sister restaurant Gulu-Gulu Cafe. The mission: to abduct traditional pizza and give it a healthy gourmet spin. Our eclectic pizza menu showcases a variety of fresh and local ingredients. With our designer pizzas inspired by available seasonal ingredients, our menu evolves and changes throughout the year. In addition to our great selection of New York style pizza, we serves great salads, beers, wines, and dessert! Charlie the Space Pug, the Flying Saucer's fearless leader, offers peace (and warm bellies) to all who enter - omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-intolerant earthlings alike.
