My boyfriend and I ate here twice, while in Salem. We are vegetarians with a heart for the soulful food! This place has very good food, with creative names. This is a great place to hang out and veg. :)

You order and pay for food and take a seat. The service and food were excellent. I didn't like the cashier though. She was snobby.

Quirky and super fun vegetarian restaurant in Salem center. Any of the bowls will knock your socks off with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. A must for lunch when in town.

This is the place to get an honest to goodness healthy bowl of Life. Fresh grated vegetable mixed with seeds, quinoa etc. Sit down and have a healthy lunch with a nice juice or cup of tea and take in the PEM museum. Wow- what a treat!

This is one of several properties with this name. I've previously enjoyed the Cambridge location. This one is just as good. Great veg food, lots of options, clean place, friendly staff, quick service. What more is there to say?

We stopped at Life Alive for iced coffee on the way out of Salem. I wish we hadn't just eaten, because they had some awesome clean eating options. The iced coffee was great and we also cleansed ourselves with ginger digestives that are available by the ounce. Two of the people behind the cash register made ordering pretty awkward though... I had the Rebel wrap and it was delicious. Great place to bring kids - their "extras" menu has a TON of healthy, kid friendly options.

I reduced my rating because I didn't care for the seating in one very important way. The tables are an artistic wood creation and have an intentional gap in the middle. This caused our cups and things to keep tipping if they got pushed over or onto this crevice, which kept happening because the table was very skinny. We felt... More

Wanted to try something different and a friend raved about the place so we went for smoothie and juice. The smoothie tasted okay but the texture was like baby food. The juice? We finished it but not sure why. I think we were trying to figure out what ingredient tasted worse but finally decided it was the combination. It was... More
