Right in the middle of town, on Essex St., is this odd little deli with an impressive menu that serves food you can't get anywhere else in town....because there is no other deli in the center of town. Its small inside and can get crowded.

Excellent deli, friendly staff. They have a great selection of Polish and European foods. Must try the poppyseed strudel.

Great shop, with fun seasonal holiday trimmings and great specialty goods, pate, chocolates, pickles, pastries, smoked meats and more. Great basket stuffers for Easter morning

Fresh, fresh breads, pick your own cold cuts or hot foods and they make it in front of you. This deli is spotless and makes the best sandwiches you will ever eat. On a nice day, we ate at a small bistro table outside and watched the activity on Essex Street. Thoroughly enjoyable cheap eats!

My fiancee and I came here in search of a quick bite before doing tourist activities in Salem. It was right next to the parking garage in the mall, and clearly wasn't a sit-down restaurant, so it looked perfect. I ordered the chicken salad (after they said they were out of tuna salad), and my girlfriend got a turkey panini.... More

We happened to stop in for a snack while on our visit to Salem and we were glad we did. Do yourself a favor and try the kielbasa on a sub bun! So darn good! The staff made great suggestions for delicious polish pickles too!

While trying to decide what to do while in Salem, we happened upon this deli and we enjoyed a delicious lunch of cabbage soup, pierogi and kielbasa. Very delicious and authentic.

The sandwiches and homemade ice cream are a welcome treat. I enjoy the high quality kielbasa, and other European specialties. Sometimes I get the Kinder Egg with the real toy inside.
