We arrived at Witches Brew at 4:30pm to a sign on the door that said "Open at 5:00pm". We had a party of 8 so we decided to wait as we figured it would be difficult to get a table at that time. We watched the owner sitting inside at the bar with his staff having drinks as we anxiously... More

We stopped at this restaurant on our way to the Derby House and the House of the Seven Gables. The food was standard fare with reasonable prices.

While in Salem a week before the Halloween, we tried several times to get in but the line was incessantly packed. Finally, we were able to get on November 1st, dinner time. The place was still full but a lot more relaxed. It is a quaint cafe, nice decor on the outside and the main dining area has a far... More

First night in Salem, since 2012. The Witches Brew was the lucky restaurant we chose. TWO THUMBS UP! I had the Witches Brew Steak and the Crab Meat Stuffed Mushrooms...deliciousness! Witches Brew Steak was a good size portion, along with the mushrooms. Atmosphere was great and our server was professional and had a great attitude. We had a 2 and... More

Great little restaurant near the house of 7 gables. Good for food and comfortable bar. Small menu but extremely tasty. Give it a try.

I had read of Tin ceiling inside so really wanted to go in. Ordered an Ice Tea and it was made from a Mix. I didnt drink it. It was warm outside so 2 of us ordered the frozen deserts. The frozen Coconut and Orange was very good, although really SWEET. One of us ordered Mozzarella sticks, and they seemed... More

The bartender at Brodie's recommended this restaurant. It is off the beaten path and on the way to the House of 7 Gables......Entered thru the bar and then found ourselves in a very cute dining room. I had the Ratatouille, I make it but have never had it in a restaurant. Friend had the chicken on French bread. Both very... More

We had lunch here on Saturday, Oct 15... Started out with an order of mozzarella sticks which were really, really good...I had a bacon cheeseburger and my cousin had a mushroom burger...we both had fries... no complaints from us at all... All of our food was excellent and our server was friendly and attentive. Would definitely eat here again.

Like others have mentioned before, we ate here on the advice of a man at the visitor's center. It was a rainy day and it was close to the House of Seven Gables, so we decided to stop in for lunch. Although the place was crowded we were seated within a few minutes. After being seated, we waited 10 minutes... More

We stopped to have drinks and eat before a show. It was Friday Oct. 14th. We sat at one of the little bar tables. A woman came over and asked us if we were having dinner. She said we could not sit there just for drinks. We explained we planned to order drinks and a couple appetizers. The waitress then... More
