Seriously, this place is so good it should be illegal. They make everything from scratch--the bread, the soups, even the meats, which are grass-fed and organic and which they smoke themselves. They're also quite proud of they're bacon, which they should be, and they squeeze it in wherever they can.

Scratch Kitchen lived up to its name and its online promises - simple food done really well. The flavours are well balanced and interesting. Everything is house made down to the pickles and ketchup. The onion rings were the 'best yet' according to my partner. Highly recommended if you care about what you eat and enjoy enthusiastic staff.

Loved this delicious lunch! Everything is farm fresh and made from scratch, hence the name. Great atmosphere with awesome bluesy music playing. Our Wonderful friendly and attentive waitress Shannon helped us find the perfect items and even had the chef eliminate dairy from a dish that usually has buttermilk in it. That dish was the fried pickled vegetables and was... More

Never have I used the HORRIBLE in a TA post. Lady came to our table, explained how all the ingredients were made there, and just left ! No drink order, nothing, After grabbing somebody else's attention, we ordered pull pork sandwich, which was the WORSE pulled pork I ever had. Left a penny tip. Never again.

My husband and I stopped in for a late (3 pm) lunch on a Saturday. We ordered the following to share: a large house salad, a 1/2-lb cheeseburger and a small order of fries. It took a little longer than we expected, but they do say they make everything "from scratch." The salad was lightly dressed, with very fresh ingredients.... More

45 minutes is just too long to wait for sandwiches, even if they are made from scratch. It took over an hour to eat here, so long that we had to go back and put more money in the parking meter. Thankfully, the sandwiches were very good. We were very unimpressed with the waitress and probably wouldn't have left a... More

Wait staff was very attentive; classic rock music was great, but a little too loud for dinnertime conversation. The homemade bread was wonderful, and the salad was delicious with dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds. The prices were reasonable.
