I've been to Ripe quite a few times but for some reason I've never reviewed it! This is our girls night out spot and we always have a blast when we come. The food is excellent especially the Curry Goat and Raasta Pasta. Service can be sketchy but the food and drinks make up for of by far. They also... More

This was my first visit to Ripe, but it certainly won't be my last! The jerk chicken was SOOoooo delicious, and, served with authentic rice and peas and a salad, was quite filling. I can't wait to go back to sample other dishes!!

I've been going here for a while but what tends to happen with a lot of Jamaican restaurants is they get popular.... Then the food declines and the service sucks! Customer service is very imperative to returning customers. I have them more than one try and it was always something. And the servers just didn't seem friendly or helpful. So... More

Feel at home and enjoy home cooking . My fav the Bad azz jerk steak, codfish plantain boat to start and a cold red stripe beer

I have eaten at this restaurant many times before and I couldn't wait to take my husband. He enjoyed his jerk chicken but my jerk steak was tough and lacked flavor. I was very disappointed and even though I took my food home I ended up tossing it in the garbage.

I learned about this restaurant from a friend/co-worker who speaks very highly about this restaurant. After hearing about it so much from her I decide to stop by one Thursday after work. We arrived at 5:00p when they opened because my friend warned that it could get crowded very quickly and that they took cash only. The restaurant resembles local... More

There is a noticeable improvement in the service at Ripe. They seemed to have made efforts to improve in that area. The food is still delicious, as always. With improved service and great food, I will definitely begin frequenting this establishment again.

If you love Jamaican food you will enjoy the food as it is full of flavor and the drinks pack a real punch. BUT the service is terrible. The place could be half empty and you still wait 30 minutes or more for a table. You have to ask for everything 3 or more times and the seating is tight.... More

I visit this restaurant on a regular basis, sometimes two or three times a week. The drinks are great as well as the food. Service is little slow but definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere is great. Nice place for a first time date or to just hang out with the regulars. I have met quite a lot of nice... More

Always enjoy the food, punch is REALLY good, do not go if you are in a hurry, they operate on Island time but it is worth the wait. Garlic greens awesome. Haven't been back recently but last visit they did not take credit cards so please have cash. The place is small, I mean REALLY small and decor is not... More
