A fun place to stop for a drink and bar food.

We stopped in just before noon on a Friday. Two adults and a 17 month old child. We were greeted quickly and the hostess brought a high chair to the table. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly. They have a good sized bar, and also lots of seating away from the bar for dining. We had a bacon cheese burger with fries and a Rachael sandwich with slaw. The burger was cooked just like we requested and the fries were very good. The slaw was good, the Rachael was ok. Kind of an odd taste to the fried bread. The kids menu was great and VERY reasonably priced. Lots of free parking outside and it is easy to get to just off of highway 8 east of downtown St Croix Falls.

Friday Fish Fry

In town for the weekend stopped in on Friday night to check out the fish fry. I had the sauteed cod and my wife had deep fried. Both were very good and the meals included salad bar and soup. The soup potatoe ham was very good. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The only minor problem is the bartender should know drinks and how to make them.

Good for a Lunch Stop

We were camping at Interstate Park and came into town for a late lunch/early dinner one day when it was raining. The Logger's Bar and Grill looked like the best option for a meal. Definitely WI decor... wildlife all over. It was fairly busy for midweek. We didn't think the food was anything to write home about. Nothing wrong with it, it was OK, and very reasonably priced. Maybe we were just expecting something a little more "home cooked". The wait staff was excellent, and the whole atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Maybe it was the "no pressure to cover your face". Frankly we find it a bit difficult to eat with a mask on. If we're ever in the area, we may stop by again.

Bleah. Another victim of Covid?

Over the years, we’ve come here numerous times…been very pleased, except for our last two visits. The last visit, we credited the poor experience to “luck of the draw,” where you’ll eventually have a bad meal if you eat here often enough. However, this time was even worse. My wife had the chicken wings again, and they were marginal. I have no idea how to describe marginal vs. great wings, but the wife said so. I had a Philly Cheesesteak. Being from South Jersey, I know Philly cheesesteaks. The meat on the sandwich I was served was shaved steak pressed together and fried as one slab of meat. Yech. Service was very marginal/poor. Two people were servicing a less that half-full restaurant and seemed to be pretty stressed. We heard several times… “There’s only two of us…”. If the waitress put the time and effort she wasted complaining towards doing her job, she would’ve been fine. Several reminders were needed to get glasses filled, etc… This is one instance where you can debate leaving no tip vs. being obligated to tip. I tipped 15% with a grimace. I don’t know what happened to this place, but we won’t be back anytime soon.

Great food and service

My husband and I hiked all day and we were hungry for a good burger. We stopped for a late lunch, early dinner and had the fried green beans for an appetizer and then we both had burgers. Everything was great and the homemade logger sauce was amazing! I had a glass of wine and the bill was very reasonable. We will stop here again if we are just passing through.

We wanted to try a new place for dinner and gave Loggers a try. Never again. We were told it would take 10 minutes to be seated and we’re fine with that. We went to the bar to get a drink and wait for a table. The bar tender said she would be right there, ten minutes later we got our drinks. In that time we witnessed four or five non-workers just walk behind the bar and grab their own beers! Next the hostess had forgot we were still waiting so we approached them after seeing open tables. We were able to be seated then just to have poor quality, barely warm food. Oil in the deep fryer probably hasn’t been changed for a while, everything that came from it was dark. Only thing good about this place was the guy that took our order and kept checking in us because our waitress was too busy talking with friends. Overall just a poorly run bar and grill with poor quality food.

Good food, fair prices, excellent staff

We had a variety of meals- burgers, philly cheesesteak, and steak. And- deep fried cheese curds. Everything was very good. Plus, our waitress was so excellent. She had the tables near the bar and she was incredible. I would return just to have her for a waitress again. Ice cold beer was great too.

Good lunch stop

We stopped in for lunch on our way back to the southern metro. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff, especially Kelsey, were very attentive and kind. The food was good quality and came out quickly. We don't frequent this area often but would definitely stop again if we were in the area. Thank you!!

Great little place!

I was very impressed by this hidden gem! Our family went here for breakfast (dine-in) and dinner (carry out). Very clean throughout with exceptional staff. Our carry-out orders were packaged nicely. Delicious entrees and sandwiches. Lots of locals dine there as well.

Good music, friendly people!

The best nightlife you can get in the little town of Sabie. I loved the music, good vibe, the staff and the people who usually go there are super friendly, good food. The decoration evokes the forestry industry of the area. I really had a great time in that place

Terrible service and quality of food

We waited well over an hour for our food. During that time we were never waited on. I had to go to the bar to refill our drinks. When our food arrived it was cold and burnt.

Great Restaurant

Bridal shower party

When for the first time Saturday June 12 2021 I was with a group celebrated my future nieces Bridal shower .we had the breakfast pizzas & the Mini donuts All were good the party room was nice and so was the service .we were treated very well I would recommend the pizzas don't know about other food since this was a shower and this is what the hostess had preordered.
