I used to live in Tucson and whenever I come back, I make it a point to eat at this tiny, hole in the wall restaurant. Parking is close and sufficient. Just walk in and grab a table. Super fast and friendly service will fetch you your drink of choice along with chips and really tasty salsa. My favorite dish... More

Whenever we are visiting Tucson, this is our first stop. The shredded beef tacos and breakfast burros are fantastic. This is a must for anyone who appreciates authentic food.

How do you know if you are in a New Mexican style restaurant? Ask for your enchiladas Christmas style. If the arrive at your table smothered in both red and green chile, you know you're good. Poco and Mom's delivers an amazing dining experience, featuring Hatch green chile. If you're a fan of authentic New Mexican cuisine, this is a... More

The food and the combo plates are fantastic. Seating is a little tight but it is a great place to take people to introduce them to Mexican food or enjoy traditional favorites.

We ate at the one near Sabino Canyon. Since it's a chain, we weren't sure what to expect. One reviewer called it Tex-Mex, but it's not like any Tex-Mex I have ever had, it was much better. It's definitely New Mexico style. I grew up in Arizona and enjoy Sonoran style Mexican food, but this was a very good alternative.... More

The relleno and enchilada were both very good. The verde sauce was excellent. It is a small place with limited seating so plan ahead during rush times. Definitely worth the wait.

Let me start by saying the service was good and friendly. But the food just isn't that good, which is super disappointing after the rave reviews I've heard about this place. I was expecting traditional Mexican cuisine (most likely Sonoran). Instead it was basic TexMex, this is Tucson, get real Mexican food! I had the spicy hatch green Chile enchiladas.... More

While visiting family in Tucson we wanted a quick, inexpensive sit down lunch. This small unassuming "American and New Mexican Style" food place fit the bill. It was open during breakfast and lunch hours. We dined outside. Service was quick and efficient. I enjoyed my freshly made tacos. The beans were creamy-spicy, and delicious. I would eat here again when... More
