We frequently dine out at Indian restaurants. This is not on our doorstep but it is well worth the visit. There is only one thing to beware of--this place is popular and there is often a waiting line. They have four choices of heat, mild, moderate, spicy, and extra spicy. . The spicy was good for me. There were large... More

So this place is right around the corner from where I work and I like Indian food I thought I'd give it a shot. The waitstaff is not friendly at all, but they are efficient and they will serve you water and leave you alone. Eat on your own take your plate go through the line pick out some really... More

Once a year we come to Tucson and found this the absolute best place to eat Indian food! Its not fancy ,nor is it very large but the food is the best we have had,and is prepared mild, medium or hot according to your preference. We have never had to wait long and the menu explains what each dish is.... More

Ate here on recommendations a friend, and read the reviews beforehand. It is indeed in a strip mall, with no view, or particular ambiance. However it was pleasant and clean. I do not pretend to be an expert on indian cuisine but we do eat at a variety of ethnic restaurants, and often end up adding picante sauce at Mexican... More

Located in a strip mall and easy to miss. The decor makes the room very dark. But, we came here to eat! We ordered the appetizer platter and suggest you do also. My wife, with a lower heat affinity than I have, found her chicken curry too spicy and finished the meal with ice cream. The first time you go... More

I tried two places in tucson and this is probably the best indian food you can get here. Ended up eating here daily during 1 week of stay. You get lunch buffet which has good selection even for vegetarians. Menu contains two vegetables, daal, rice, samosas, tandoori chicken, two sweets, one chicken dish, one lamb dish, roti and salads. You... More

Visiting in Tucson, my wife and I took our host for a taste of one our favorite cuisines. We were not disappointed. A large Kingfisher set the stage with papadums & vegy samosas with spicy sauces. Our entrees were excellent and spiced to perfection. Service was excellent And we enjoyed leftovers.

We wanted to try the buffet, because we were in a hurry and didn't want to wait for food preparation. The vegetarian dishes on the buffet (creamed spinach, curried sweet potatoes, and green salad, and samosas were very good, especially the sweet potatoes. The Tandoori Chicken was excellent, fresh, tender and very tasty. The naan was okay. The service was... More

The atmosphere is of a neighborhood restaurant but the food may be the best Indian restaurant in Tucson. The variety for both vegetarians and carnivores is extensive making it an excellent restaurant when you do not know the eating habits of your guests. And to top it all off the prices are inexpensive. $. Strongly recommended.
