We stopped on a whim after touring the saguaro national park! We were so hungry for lunch after hiking. We loved the food. Pacificos all around and tacos. Very fast service and friendly service.

Great Mexican food in this popular, no frills cafe. This is a small restaurant in an unpromising location, but the food and service were great. Every table was busy on the Monday night we were there. Closes fairly early (7.30 or 8, I think) so eat early and enjoy!

I had the carne asada and my with had chimichanga. Both were good size orders. The chips and salsa before and... More

The best mexican food I have ever had in the states. Good service, small but clean unremarkable atmosphere, great prices.

In th growing culinary capital environment of Tucson, hidden eateries like Nopales may not get the attention they deserve, but their simple home cooking style food and kind service represent true, wholesome goodness. The meatball soup with flavorful ingredients, or the spinach cheese quesodilla were very tasty and very reasonably priced. Not a place for fine dining, but definitely for... More
