I just tried this restaurant for the second time. The first time was very bad but it was over a year ago so I thought I'd give it another try.... I had the kale quinoa curry- it's a lot of potatoes and quinoa but little of anything else- there was no pine nuts, maybe 3 kale leaves and a two... More

As a vegan I rarely find restaurants that are completely plant based. I was very surprised when we found this place AND it was super busy. Good to see people eating healthy. The owner was very nice and the staff was great. I had the Wildcat burger and it was delicious. My husband had the route 66 and he loved... More

My friend who lives in Tucson took me to Lovin' Spoonfuls for lunch. I had the falafel burger with a side salad. It was excellent. The falafel burger was just right, not too dry and not too spicy. Great lunch. Wish I had more time to try other items on the menu. The menu is huge!

Being new to Tucson we have been keeping a running list of the vegan places we want to try that we have found via the Happy Cow app. This place has a lot of great offerings. We were excited to try the vegan shrimp and they did not disappoint. We also appreaciated the cauliflower "wings." We were happy with our... More

I, personally, value 'truth in advertising', and so, my main complaint about Lovin' Spoonfuls is that, quite misleadingly, it persists in advertising itself as "vegetarian". Vegetarian it is, decidedly not. They use no butter, no cream, nothing from animals, at all. And so, their 'Apple Betty' desert for Thanksgiving was little more than a baked apple with raisins and oats... More

We had lunch here twice and enjoyed it very much. I'm not a vegetarian but I'm interested in healthy food, and if I lived in Tucson, I'd be a regular. The first time, I did their "build your own burger." I chose a falafel burger on pita bread, with raw spinach, grilled mushrooms. and grilled onions, and the cilantro mayonnaise.... More

Our son is vegan so we met here for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. We enjoyed our meals.

We enjoyed the food. Menu has a lovely variety of vegetarian vegan food items. We loved the Vegan concept.

You walk in and order at the counter and they don't take AMEX. We ordered the nut loaf which they say is one of their best entrees. It was just ok. The prices are low, the service sparse but preset, the ambiance friendly but very much MacDonald style, and yes, they do vegan, but in this town there are so... More

This is an unpretentious, well-lit, friendly little place that offers well-presented basics. I ordered a build-your-own bowl with quinoa, olives, broccoli and "meatballs". The "meatballs" were a tasty surprise: packed with flavor. I also sampled one of their tiny cupcakes--a relief from the dinner-plate sized things that pass for cupcakes in CA. It had real strawberries in the middle! Also,... More
