Prior to eating at Prep & Pastry my favorite Breakfast/Brunch place is Word of Mouth in Salem, Oregon. I didn’t think any restaurant could ever come close. Well Prep & Pastry is right up there not only with food, but service too! I had the...Poblano Verde Beni which is carnitas, roasted poblano, poached eggs, goat cheese hollandaise, cilantro and herbed cheddar biscuit. I could eat this 24/7 and not want for anything else. I actually had my first Mimosa and that was great too. Normally I save my alcohol for evening time and it’s Scotch, but that was a very tasty Mimosa. The service was absolutely exceptional. Everything considered it was a great Birthday brunch for my daughter-in-law! Highly recommend!More

A decent place that I felt was over priced and tried to have an atmosphere of high end. Disappointed in the pastry as it was tough. All the bakery items we purchased were left mostly uneaten. The breakfast was just average. Not a place I...will return to .More

While the menu is somewhat limited there are many good choices. While the quality of the food is outstanding & the service is likewise the cost is more on the "pricey side" but still of value. The sole negative comment is that it is noisy.

This place has been on my list to try since my kid has been at the university (about 2 yrs.), every time my friend and I go to Tucson for the weekend, we stop by Sunday morning before heading back home. The line has always...been out the door, people waiting (I have no patience to wait). Finally coming here on an odd day Wednesday to pick up my kid with all the events taking place in the world (COVID-19), I wanted to see if there was a wait for lunch before we headed out of Tucson. Yeah! No wait! There were 3 of us and we sat out on the patio. Knox our server introduced himself. I noticed him and all other staff wore gloves, tables were wiped down and all the salt and pepper shakers were eliminated. Straws were offered with our drinks... nice to see, taking all the right precautions. I ordered the house Bloody Mary, loved the Beer Chaser that accompanied it. We ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwiches (noels honey dijon, tangy slaw, bread and butter pickles), Prep Omelete (herbed goat cheese, kale pesto, tea smoked tomatoes, spinach, avocado, prep’s potatoes) and 2 of the puffiest Chocolate Chip Cookies I've ever seen. The dishes all came out hot and fresh and all tasted very good... perfect lunch. Atmosphere: bright, airy, clean, Service: excellent, Food: very goodMore

We have friends visiting as the covid 19 virus is escalating and we are concerned for them. As we have been to Prep & Pastry several times, we saw on their website they are providing carry out service. We are able to serve our guests...a fantastic breakfast right in our own dining room.More

We stopped in a while ago for a pastry decided we were coming back for breakfast. I had Biscuit and Duck Fat Gravy. The biscuits were light and fluffy with herbs. The gravy was interesting. If I ordered it again I would have them served...separate because there were 4 huge biscuits and little gravy. Then I could take biscuits home. My husband had the pancakes. They were very light and tasty with real maple syrup.More

They've moved to a larger location at Campbell and Mitchell offering the same wonderful meals. Enjoyed the experience and the red sauce veggie skillet with eggs.

Eventhough the restaurant is a bit noisy, you'll have no trouble carrying on an audible conversation. The service is superior. Wait staff is very friendly and knowledgable, and food is served very quickly. I have visited several times and Frankie always comes by making sure...my dining experience is superior. I've always ordered the Savory Breakfast Bowl. So many diverse flavors explode in my mouth. Once I just needed a bit more of the tasty tahini vin and Frankie took no time to honor my request. Another time there was an hour wait (on Sunday morning) so we were too hungry to wait yet I could not leave without a tasty dessert or two. I was told to go to the bar but they were so busy so they suggested to stop anyone with a blue checkered shirt. Before I even had a chance to find someone Frankie was right there to pack up our delicious choices so we did not leave empty handed. All the food looks so yummy but I remain addicted to the Savory Breakfast Bowl. It is also identified as GF (gluten free/good food) so I leave very satisfied and guilt-free.More

Amazing menu! Very creative & delicious! My server was very friendly and recommended great dishes. I honestly can’t remember what I ordered. Some items on the menu can be ordered as a half order.

We came here because they had lots of vegan and vegetarian options and not your typical ham & eggs. Food was fabulous and the service great!
