Great Happy Hour

My husband and I have decided since we like to share small plates, enjoy a nice beverage with our meal and indulge in higher end food without the high price tag that "Happy Hour" is a great choice. We decided to give Acacia a try. The restaurant is beautiful with a lovely view of the city from... read more

As part of a party of six, two of us ordered filet mignon at $42. Mine was to be medium-well which it was but was served in three pieces (huh) and was extremely soft, fatty and wiggled around when trying to cut it with my knife. I ate very little of it but I don't send back food. An alert... More

I don't know what it is exactly about this place, but it was just "meh". The service was very good, the menu somewhat strange. My husband ordered the prawns and linguine. He said it was good, but the shrimp were hardly prawns. They were about 1.5 inches across. Not tiny, but hardly prawns. I had steamed potstickers which were very... More

Lovely restaurant but a little hard to get to since its recent relocation. Worth the effort since the food and menu are both interesting, of good quality and service to match. Love the view; especially as a visitor from Florida. Hope it survives its move.

Walked in on a Sunday night without reservations and was quickly seated. Love the happy hour margaritas ($5) - had two! The small plate scallop dish was prepared exquisitely with squash - excellent. Great ambiance and a mature crowd with lights of the city twinkling in the window below.

Mediocre food, dated, waste of time, money, and calories. We were the only people under 65 years of age. I should have heeded my own advice to beware any restaurant that describes itself as "gourmet". Go to downtown Tucson where the food scene is thriving.

We were on our way back to our vacation rental and drove by, as we had done several times, and decided to stop in. So glad we did. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming. The big windows have a fabulous view of Tucson. The staff and the service was excellent, very friendly. We thought the value of the food... More

My opinion is that if you're looking for a premier restaurant in Tucson which is not chock full of them you would have to include Acacia. This is not to say it would be a premier restaurant in SF but let's be fair. This is Tucson and here it's one of the premier ones. Then you need to add that... More

Close friend took me here for a birthday dinner treat. I have not eaten at Acacia in several years. Warm and welcoming on a very chilly evening, seated precisely at reservation time at a table with a stunning view of down town lights. Starter of steamed veggie dumplings with a Thai style sauce, friend opted for seared scallops over a... More
