The breakfast burrs are huge and freshly made. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and the large is 32 oz! Unfortunately the breakfast burrs taste was just average.

My wife picked this place to eat and I was hesitant to try it just by the looks of it from the road. We decided to try it anyway and we are so glad that we did! I didn't like the consistency of the Guac but everything else tasted excellent and because I love Horchata and they actually had it,... More

Well, located in the heart of great restaurants of the Westside, they hold their own for whatntheynoffer -- reasonably priced Mexican food. Try a mango/papaya smoothie, mmmm...

I have a mental index for just about any delicious "hole-n-the-wall" Sonoran food joint within Tucson city limits. Believe me when I say you don't have to venture south of the border to find truly authentic, amazingly delicious Mexican food. I've had more than my fair share of Fresita Breakfast burros (because they are pretty much sublime), but I haven't... More

This food is fantastic! We ordered 2 Ranchera bistek, Sonoran dogs, and carnitas tacos. All served on homemade, I mean actually hand made corn tortillas! All the food was grilled to perfection, fresh and favorable! If you want authentic, real Mexican food. You have to try this! The owners are super sweet and service is spectacular! Eat and live well.... More

This is a tiny converted old Dairy Queen that serves a very tasty breakfast. We stopped in after walking Tumamoc and left there very happy we did. My husband ordered a plate while I just had a burrito. Both plates were delicious and just the right size. We will return and bring frineds!

We were leaving the Starr resort and looked on trip advisor for some Mexican before hitting the airport.. Place is a small mama and pop joint with seating outside. You order at the counter... Perfect.. It was clean and the food was delicious.. (Authentic) We had the special which had a taco, enchiladas and something else that I am not... More

Ate here twice on recent trip to Tuscon. Amazing Carne Asada Burritos. Definitely not the typical tex-mex. My wife and I split a large mango shake which we were shocked to see at 32 Oz! Kept us happy all the way to Phoenix. Highly recommend for quick, cheap, and excellent Mexican carry-out.

La Fresita has, HANDS DOWN, the best cheeseburgers and fries in tucson. The french fries are made from the potato and you get a lot. the cheesburger is big and juicy with avacado, lettuce and tomatoe, 2 cheeses on it. all for 6.99. so super. TRY IT

The place is small mom & pop joint, but loved the fresh food! Not a fancy place, and quite small but again the food is good!
