Some of the Best Mexican in Tucson

If nothing else, the salsa prepared to your specifications tableside is a real treat. One of my main reasons for going there. Servings are plentiful and tasteful. Good service and surroundings.

I placed an order for pick up and they told me 15-20 minutes. When I arrived there, I said I had a to go order and they still haven't put in my order yet. The hostesses were rude from the beginning. They messed up on my order as well. I will not be coming here again. I would rather have... More

This was the first time eating at this Guadalajara Restaurant.the building is beautiful and there is ample parking. The restaurant is decorated beautifully inside. There are unique Mexican art objects. The walls are vibrant blue, yellow and chile red. The service was great, chips were crispy and salsa very fresh. Our meal was served quickly even though the restaurant was... More

If you want to show visitors or friends a great South of the Border place, this is it. The murals and other decorations are well worth seeing. And the food isn't half bad either! We've tried the chicken mole and it was flavored perfectly. The bowl of posole is generous and full of chunks of tender pork. At lunch the... More

Friends and I enjoyed a festive dinner at this colorful restaurant. Our guide, Gloria K., suggested this place with a Mariachi Band performing while we dined. The salsa is made fresh at the table and can be prepared as spicy as you like. I had frozen Mango Margaritas(2!) that were delicious. The mole sauce was sweeter than I expected, but... More

This was our first trip to this location and we were not disappointed. We arrived just before 6PM on a Friday and it was busy. The table side salsa was very good and the margaritas are FABULOUS!. The menu offers a variety of choices. Our food was very good with more than generous portions. The mariachis were delightful and sang... More

Tried the food there, wasn't that bad but nothing surprised me. Some food lack of seasoning. Handmade salsa was good. Mexican paella was way below my expectation. Service was ok but the waitress was too busy to take care of us. Guess I won't be back next time when I'm in Tucson.

Salsa made right at your table, beautifully presented entrees, strolling mariachis in the evening. Outside dining, too... This was a return visit for us.
