A friend recommended we all visit the Cafe a La C’Art downtown at the Museum of Art. We have never dined there - even after living in Tucson all these years! We parked across the street - no parking fees after 5:00 PM. It’s located...in a beautiful historical building near Main & Paseo Redondo. They don’t take reservations - just first come, first served. Their dining rooms are separate rooms mostly just for your group - each of different sizes. The menu is not large, but all of the food sounded good. We split the Cafe Croque and I had the margarita flight (3 small margaritas of different flavors - very good!). The finish was a split dessert - the fantastic chocolate bomb! Don’t miss the desserts - they had cake, bars, cookies and other specialty desserts! The last note is - their interior patio area is beautiful. If the weather is good - sit out there!More

It was much better than I expected for a museum cafe. They were good about practicing COVID protocols. My hamburger was big with cheese, avocado, bacon and greens with lots of fries. My wife’s sandwich was tasty and came with a huge salad. The staff...was friendly. It is fast casual so you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. The wait person was good about bringing me extra sauce for my burger.More

Food just OK. Service OK. Construction at the museum and annoying birds made for an unpleasant experience. Very disappointing.

While on a food tour, we visited this lovely and friendly place. Enjoyed flan with pepitas (squash seeds) and Mexicali Roast Coffee.

It's a lovely old Tucson dwelling, beautifully decorated to be a restaurant. The food is outstanding, and it is virtually in the courtyard of the Tucson Museum of Art. It is also a very short walk to all sorts of historic houses and building. It...can be a good half day experience.More

We were looking for something light and had just arrived and didn't know our way around. Cafe a La C'art was recommended by our innkeeper. Glad she told us how to find it. The entrance can be missed easily. We weren't sure the door we...entered was right, but saw rooms on each side of the halllway with tables. Then a larger room with bar. But we continued on through some doors onto their patio area. It was a cool evening, but their heaters kept us warm. The area was beautifully landscaped and decorated. Our "something light" turned into a turkey croissant for me and a Mediterranean hummus plate for my wife. We were both very pleased with the food. Topped with a couple glasses of wine, our quick, light night out became a great memory.More

Sampled the mixed berry buttermilk cake during one of the bridal fairs and instantly fell in love with its divine flavor. Scheduled a cake tasting for our wedding and my husband too was an instant fan, and he does not do sweets. Our wedding cake...was a hit on our big day! The plan was to have our guests enjoy it all. We didn't save any of it because there was nothing left to save. Everyone loved it and if they didn't, I went around and ate their slice too because it just was that delicious. We added a lemon jam to one tier and a raspberry to another and left the original flavor to the top. I absolutely love the fact that I can stop in Cafe a la C'Art and have a slice of my wedding cake at any time.More

We stopped in before a concert at the music hall, within walking distance. We had salmon cakes as appetizer, short ribs as main course and apricot cheese cake for desert. All was fantastic. Service was friendly but not rushing us. Definitely would go back.

Very pretty inside, with great artwork and decor. However, the service was very slow and the food, while good, was not outstanding. We had sandwiches, which took almost 45 minutes to come out. We skipped dessert, which looked good. The place was also hard to...find, but perhaps you will have better luck!More

Seven of us had lunch here this week during the gem show. Without exception the meals were huge, fresh, well presented, and delicious! The salads and desserts were wonderful, with a large selection. We'll be back for sure.

There is no link on their website and I didn't find them on OpenTable. I really thought I had seen them on OpenTable, but I just checked and the app said to call the business. Perhaps you can email them for reservations.
