Did a Take Out dinner due to Corona Virus. Called in order at 4:55pm, was told 45 minutes and to call when we arrived so they could bring food to car. They were very busy, took maybe 50 min. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan($19.99) with side salad, another ordered the Pasta Rustica with sweet sausage($19.99), and a third a Calzone with Italian Sausage and Mushrooms($16.99). The Chicken Parm had 2 large pieces of Chicken and noodles, it was very tasty and filling. The Pasta Rustica was spicy and very good. The Calzone was huge and tasty. The 3 meals provided lunch the next day.

Very casual & delicious food w/ great service. The ambiance & checkered tablecloths reminded me of an east coast Italian neighborhood restaurant.
They take advance reservations for parties of 6 or more.
Our friends had been there before,
so they knew you could do a same day ‘call ahead’, got on the list & requested a quiet booth for 4 which they honored.
We feasted on eggplant parmigiana, chopped Italian salad w/ shrimp & chicken Marsala. Meals were all very good & the garlic knots were an added bonus. It was a Sat. night, restaurant was very busy, but noise level was low.
We’ll definitely return again.

4 of us had dinner here last week. Tables spaced far apart due to Covid requirements and all servers were wearing face masks.
The white pizza was excellend but waited over 45 minutes for dinner. While the restaurant was not all that crowded, our server said the kitchen was really busy with take out orders.
I would go back and would get take out as well. Just be prepared to wait.

What I remember Italian food growing up in New York! Husband raved about the spaghetti and homemade meatballs with marinara. The primavera con pesto is absolutely marvelous, I could eat it weekly. Salad and soup beforehand were delicious. Garlic knots, served before your meal could easily become addictive.

Twice now I've called to place a pick up order (I've eaten there one time, and the food was good enough). First time it was 20 minutes till closing (and I live about two minutes away) and she said they had *just* closed the kitchen. She wasn't even nice about it. Next time I called it was 35 minutes before they closed, and she said sorry, can't take your order, the kitchen closes in 5 minutes. I told her I could be there in two minutes. She said nope. I won't ever call or go again. I like to give my business to small local places, but the ones who want my business too. If your business hours state you are open a certain time, then that it's when you are open. Period. If you want to stop before then so you can finish or go home, then simply close earlier.

Great place to go if you are looking for authentic Italian food. Our meals were outstanding and portions just right. Our friends had enough to take home some of theirs (small pizza and some pasta dish). My wife's lunch-size Alfredo Fettuccini was perfect and tasty. My risotto dish was excellent, but a bit more than I could eat in one sitting. Overall, our dinning experience was great. We'll undoubtedly be back.

I recently met a long time friend of mine here at Dominick's and it didn't disappoint. This was her first time dining here and she is looking forward to coming back with her husband. I have tried many entrees on the menu over the years and have never had a bad meal. I decided on Spaghetti and Meatballs on this particular visit. Garlic Knots are complimentary for the table and entrees come with choice of soup or salad. Happy hour is M-F 4pm-6pm and offer drink specials. This is a small place so it is highly suggested that you have reservations. Atmosphere is casual. Bar seating is available . There is also outside dining that has been put in place due to COVID restrictions. I will be back and sooner then later.

On vacation in Tucson we ate here on a Sunday night for dinner. Service was good. For the quality prices were high. The complimentary bread was doughy and flavorless but the marinara that came with it was good. The salads that came with our entrees were the best part of the meal. Made with fresh mixed greens or spinach if you ask and packed with flavorful toppings and dressing on the side; prefect! Unfortunately that was the highlight. The eggplant parmesan had crisp breading but it did not taste seasoned, just plain white bread crumbs. And the breading overpowered the eggplant so you could not taste it; I would not get it again. The side of spaghetti was good but nothing to rave about. My partner’s chicken marsala was better but not great; we’ve had better elsewhere (outside Tucson). Portions were large enough that we had enough leftovers for another meal each. If we are ever back in Tucson, we will try some other Italian restaurant instead.

We went here for dinner and were told we needed a reservation to sit in the dining room but could sit right inside the door or outside without one. We chose right inside the door.
Our server was very prompt and attentive and gave us a basket of garlic knots while we were waiting for our food.
We ordered a pizza. It had a crispy crust and the sauce had an ok flavor. The price was reasonable and they had live music which was just ok.
I would definitely go back.

Had the lasagna with friends and that was just NOT up to expectations for an Italian restaurant. The Greek salad was more like a spinach salad with olives and feta cheese. Service was fine but seating somewhat uncomfortable. Noise level was fine and ambiance was okay. Probably not a restaurant I would race to next if looking for Italian food.

This was our first time at Dominick’s and we will make this a favorite place to bring family and friends. We took our adult kids and one spouse so had 5 adults. We made the reservation online so they were waiting for us. We started with Garlic Knots and Calamari Fritti. The Calamari was very lightly breaded and probably the best I’ve had. For an entree I had the Seafood Risotto which is clams, calamari, and shrimp sautéed in scampi sauce and served over risotto. The food was excellent as was the service and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

My Lasagna was really good. I really liked how it was layered with different meats. The Meatball Sandwich was really good the Bread was softer than most as were the meatballs. The size of the Meat Balls was perfect, not to big for a sandwich. The service was really good, she was by herself taking care of 6 tables and take-out orders. This place is a straight 2.5 miles off the highway and worth a stop for good Italian Food. If the prices were just a bit lower it would be even better. I will stop by on my next trip down the 10 to Tucson.

Ordered online an Everything pizza and hot wings. Went to pick up pizza, waited 10 minutes. Drove home and discovered I had the wrong pizza and wings. Called the business to have manager refund partially as a compromise. Manager, Sharon, then blamed me for the mixup and refused to redo my pizza OR refund my pizza order. Manager admitted to having to remake the other customers pizza but REFUSED to redo mine. Nothing on my order was correct! What kind of business practices are these- blames customers for mix ups and refuses to refund?

We’d read glowing reviews of Dominick’s and decided to give it a try. The crowd seemed to indicate it was a winner. The staff was friendly, the waiter was attentive, the Greek and Caesar salads were good. Then the main course arrived and the disappointment began. My eggplant parmigiana was so raw it was inedible. When told of the situation, the manager’s response was “I’m sorry your meal was bad.” There was no offer of compensation for our poor meal. We won’t be back and we’ll certainly tell our friends to avoid the place.

We ate early dinner here. We had the penne rústica and lasagna with one chopped salad and one Greek salad. I had a glass of Chianti. The food was great, portions were huge and the price was very reasonable. We will go back.
