We drove a half hour out of our way for these tacos! Totally worth it! The shrimp was the best out the four we tried. Even the pickled carrots and onions on the side are yummy! The hot sauce delicious! Toppings so fresh! But the star was the corn tortilla! I've never had such delicious tortillas!!!! We each had four... More

This is probably not a place that tourists will find on a visit to Tucson. We were visiting this past weekend with family who live in Tucson and stopped by for lunch on Monday. This is a little hole in the wall that many will bypass. I recommend you stop by for excellent fast food. Had the Carne Asada tacos... More

This place was the most amazing hole in the wall spot I've ever found. I love mexican food and have eaten it all over the country. This place beat them all. I have a high tolerance for heat, and I usually order the spiciest thing on any menu. The home made salsa here is awesome. It is thick and chunky,... More

The wife and I stopped here a few days ago. It is a walk up counter to order and they call you when ready. We ordered taxis and the food was free at. Tongue, birria, shrimp, fish, tamales and Pico de Gallo( a cup full of sliced pineapple, coconut, watermelon, with cinnamon and some other seasoning.) The place where you... More

I have been here so many times I can't count . It's my go to place for taco's, and it's a family operated place that never fails. I once had manta ray tostadas, they were so unique and tasty with lots of lime, never had them in Mexico. The fish taco's are outstanding. So are the lengua (tongue) and barbecoa.... More

I went there a few times. This place is popular and you may expect a wait in the evenings. They have a good selection of tacos, but nothing really makes them stand out from comparable other places in Tucson.

I discovered the Taqueria Pico De Gallo which featured some amazing fat house-made corn tortillas. The fact that Andrew Zimmerman from the Food Network ate here did not entice me to go. The fact that there were no pictures of him eating there and the menu was only available on a wall, in Spanish and almost impossible for me to... More

As a connoisseur of fine dives I eagerly went to this establishment and ordered a range of tacos. Mexican food is my comfort food but things got off to a bit of a rocky start with my questioning..... Me - so is your birria goat? ( birria is a traditionall stewed goat dish from the Guadalajara region) Them - no... More

Sharing a variety of their tacos: Pollo, Barbacoa, Fish, and finally the lengua (Beef tongue) all wrapped in homemade corn tortillas. Fantastic. Our favorites were the pollo and lengua (I was a little nervous, but glad I gave it a go!). The service can be slow; we came in right after a party of 8. So timing is everything, but... More

Love the shrimp tacos, caldo Camaroon and corn tortillas. Carne asada tacos a disappointment. Everything fresh and prepared as you order. Tough area, shouldn't at night. Spanish speaking helpful.
