Horrible, nonexistent service. Waited 20 minutes at a table ...they said they had no menus. Waiter said they had to make more. No napkins. No silverware given out. I literally retrieved silverware from the kitchen area. Waitress had no clue about breakfast hours, menu ingredients....I felt like we were on one of those prank shows. People were nice but appeared to have no training or waitstaff skills. Other customers were heard with same complaints. Food was decent but not worth "begging" to be waited on. Many Mexican restaurants in Tucson that actually wait on youMore

Place is horrible ! Don’t waste your time. No one at front , then we ask if we can sit outside. Wait 20 minutes and no one comes. Then we get up and leave and have the audacity to say Thanks for Coming ! Don’t...waste your money or time !! Much better service and places in Tucson!More

We ate here twice during our 4-day stay at La Posada. I’m not sure why we gave it a second try, except that it was convenient after a long day at the Fourth Street Festival. Food is…ok. Service is terrible.

3rd time eating here in last 5 months as we go through Tucson on business. Food has always been good. Service us lacking. First 2 visits in October, server couldn't get order correct. This time, ignored for first 5 minutes before server came by. She...seemed fairly clueless. Almost walked off without taking complete order. Still haven't gotten the water we asked. Food just arrived. Looks spectacular. Had to ask for 3rd time for water . Partner finally got one. I didn't. Guess I'm not here, even though I'm the one that will get the bill.More

Mexican restaurants should not smell bad. We wondered why this restaurant located between two hotels had no patrons on a night when every other nearby restaurant had lineups. The strong small of stale cooking might have something to do with it. We turned around and...walked out, not wanting to take a chance on having a terrible experience.More

My Dad and I hosted my Mom's 75th birthday party here at Gringo Grill. We had 28 people. We chose inside but the patio would have been nice too, too cold in December. We worked with Juan Loo the event coordinator, he was extremely communicative...and made the planning process easy. We chose to give drink tickets to our guests. We ordered the Fajita option and added Chips and Guac. We couldn't have been more happy! We brought in our own balloon arrangement. Several of us also booked a room in advance so we could walk vs driving home after the party. My Mom had a double queen room on the street level close to the lobby and she had a balcony and view of the pool. Our room (119 or 219), I cannot remember) almost at the end of the building away from the lobby didn't have a view of much and we didn't have a balcony, however, the room was clean, had a K-Cup coffee maker and sink. Perfect for what we needed. We had a great experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend!!!! And we had bottomless Mimosa's the next morning with the included breakfast.More

This was hands-down the worst Mexican food we’ve ever had. (no wonder it’s called gringos) The service was great though and no one was there so we got served right away. Stick to their alcoholic beverages.

Nice place and atmosphere connected to the LA Palasades Hotel. Food was good but very limited menu. Had to pay extra for salsa and chips. Better Mexican restaurants nearby.

We were staying at the hotel next door and walked over to here for a quick bite. The place was virtually empty other than us and the staff. We had the guacamole and mini chimis. Both were good. We had good service because we were...the only ones there.More

Lousy marquerita, no beer on tap "left" , was told they were doing happy hour, then when presented the tab, told not on Saturday, which is not uncommon, but we were directed to the bar at 5 PM to enjoy the happy hour. Guacamole was...good. Service was marginal.More

My wife and I were staying at the Posada Inn next door and come to the Gringo grill a few times at Happy Hour, for dinner one night, and then for breakfast.
