Eight of us showed up for prime rib. Delicious! And our server was magnificent. She handled our group perfectly...served everyone simultaneously and to a tee.

The steaks are delicious for a super price compared to other steak houses here. It's a very quiet, old atmosphere with a touch of western. The service is great and staff is always welcoming.

We ordered the lunch special of the day. It was a hamburger bun with a pile of gristle covered in BBQ sauce. Drinks were iced tea. Dishes were not clean. Very dark atmosphere. Service was excellent. Ordered a dessert that was gross. Left most of it. I wish I had gone to taco bell. Total was $26. Way to much... More

Had a late lunch with friends at Cody's this past Friday. I had a patty melt served with steak fries and that was excellent. Several took advantage of the special fish and chips. The comments were that it was great. Great warm homemade buns were served. Great service. I have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past and... More

We love Cody's Beef'n Beans. This family owned restaurant in Tucson is long on great food at very reasonable prices. The owners provide daily specials at both lunch and dinner which will cost you no more than a fast-food hamburger run. Cody's offers wonderful hamburgers and the best French fries in Arizona. Their steaks are excellent and are accompanied by... More

Wanted a salad, steak and baked potato, so came here. It was OK, nothing special. The salad was decent, the strip steak a bit on the tough side. The bake potato was good and the beans were different. Not a cowboy style but more along the barbeque type. The price was reasonable and the service was good. I'd probably try... More

In a small strip mall. Service was excellent. My food was rather tasteless. My meat was dry and tough. Some others in our group did seem to enjoy their food more than others did. Seems like a somewhat popular neighborhood place that has been around a long time.

Have eaten here many times over the years. Great service and food. Outstanding prices too. Had the t-bone last week and it was fantastic. Nothing fancy here, just quality food in a nice western setting. Don't let the outside of the building fool you. You'll like this place!

I was visiting my wife who left me in cold and damp Washington, DC and retired in sunny dry Tucson! We had had a fabulous Sunday brunch at the Grill at Hacienda del Sol and planned to visit the Chaparral Steak House in the evening which was way out of town. Well we never felt hungry the rest of the... More

Cody's Beef and Beans is a weekly destination for this Tucsonan. Try the steak sandwich , hamburgers, or excellent steaks. The best thousand island dressing I have eaten should be ordered for your salads. This family -owned restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants in Tucson, Arizona.
