Four friends met my wife and I for lunch yesterday, and we all had the buffet except Barbara. She likes her food a bit spicier so she ordered from the menu. She thoroughly enjoyed her "spicy" meal, but ours was not to shabby either. Many good choices on the buffet , and the only reason I gave it 4 instead... More

I made a reservation for this restaurant very far in advance but when we showed up they said we had made it for a different day. That was a strange start but they put together several tables for our group and accommodated us just the same. We all got the buffet which was pretty tasty and had a variety of... More

This is not my first review of Gandhi. Yet they are still an excellent Indian eatery. The place is clean, the service is friendly and prompt and whether you go for the buffet or a menu entree, the food is terrific. The servings are ample, hot, and spiced to your requested taste. The rest rooms are clean too. We go... More

The food is very good and tasty. The portions are large. We ordered the MURGH MIRCHI chicken tikka in fresh onions, herbs and a tangy sauce and the SHAHJEHAN chicken, lamb, fish, shrimp and vegetables. The service and quick and friendly.

went here for dinner on a recent trip to Tucson. It was a weekday and there were only two tables occupied in all. Seems it's more of a lunch time restaurant as they offer a buffet in lunch. Service was good and prompt and ambiance was nice inside the restaurant. Food was good but could have been better.

We eat here monthly, the buffet can't be beat with more vegetarian options than any other place in Tucson. They have a good mango lassi as well, although the service on the beverages can be somewhat slow (got our chai at the end of a meal once, so don't order that anymore). Nice family run outfit, and the tasty food... More

Not really fancy, but the food was great! Ordered it mild, but was REALLY mild, so next time will order medium spice. This is a really good family owned establishment, and they have real pride in their meals, so worth a try! We will absolutely be back!

Most lunch buffets are hovering around $9-$10 and Gandhi is still very reasonable at $6.95. Also the buffet is open until 3; most close at 2. The samosas are to die for! The pastry is so light and flaky and the filling contained peas and carrots along with potato, rather than the usual potato only. The lamb meatballs are not... More

I stopped by Gandhi for lunch at the recommendation of some friends. I wish I had chosen a different restaurant. Although the buffet looked ok, the food was barely warm and didn't have much flavor to it. I would not have known that I was eating chicken curry if the sign didn't inform me - there was just no spice... More

Ordered two vegetarian sampler appetizers. Every single piece was barely warm. Entrees were all hot but rice was cold. Service was unfriendly and pretty much non-responsive. There were many items we would have tried but they were ut of most of our first choices. This place has gone down hill in a big way. Sorry to see what was a... More
