We celebrated a friend’s birthday with breakfast on their patio. All meals were enjoyed and the service was prompt. (One note - I would not get the tofu scramble next time) We would definitely do that again!

I crossed the street to Cup Cafe for coffee while waiting to board a train. The cafe had just opened. Three staff members were present but seemed otherwise occupied. I waited and waited, and by the time I received attention, I did not have time...to wait even for a cup of coffee. I cannot speak to quality of food. They seemed not interested in greeting early customers.More

After a bit of a wait, we were rewarded with a fabulous breakfast. The iron skillet egg dish was one of the best egg dishes I have eaten. My husband's omelet was cooked to perfection and my uncle's pancakes had the right touch of cinnamon....All of us thought the meal was outstanding. Our waiter was superb and service prompt and welcoming. On top of all that you are in an interesting historic setting right downtown. Perfect!More

it's a great restaurant, in a great location. Lots of friendly staff, happy to fill up water glasses and answer questions. It is a really hip joint, looks like it gets lots of regulars. As a hungry and thirsty fivesome of seniors they were pleased...to push tables together for us and, really quickly, this excellent food appeared and kept appearing! Super tasty entirees, fresh cold salads. It isn't fancy, no tablecloths but great food, happy and efficient staff as well as a kitchen that can take one ingredient out of your dinner. Go and hang out with the in group and enjoy.More

This place offers all 3 meals and a wonderful atmosphere. We had breakfast and it was really great. I had the quiche of the day and added peppered bacon side. It was served with a small salad and fruit. Absolutely great! Check the menu to...see what great offerings they have - such as smoked trout Benedict. Their other meals of the day look wonderful so we plan to return.More

This was a great little restaurant in a really cool, historic hotel. It was in a great part of downtown for wandering and exploring Tucson. The food was great with lots of local options. The bartender mixed really great fresh and creative cocktails for us...while we waited for our table, which ended up being outside on the lovely patio. They feature a local wine that we tried (even being the wine snobs that we are) and it was pretty good. The Hotel Congress is where John Dillinger was captured once so we learned a little about the history which made it even more interesting. It's a great spot that we would definitely return to.More

Be prepared to be amazed...here is a little coffee shop in a restored old hotel...a little hard to get to (downtown Tucson streets are unpredictable) and parking challenged. The Cup is hands down one of the best coffee shops we've encountered. Imagine 6" high quiche,...light as a feather, stuffed with yummy guyere cheese, caramelized onions and diced ham. Or, how about excellent fish and chips, tender beer battered cod and golden fries. Add a fresh fruit salad, some spring greens with little chopped veggies, couple of draft beers. Build your own mimosa with a bunch of different ingredient choices. THEN, add a huge piece of fresh coconut cream pie, big enough to share with the NFL. Service is attentive, background music not too loud and the sheltered outdoor seating perfect even in the winter.More
