My family has been going to this family owned restaurant for 50+ years. It opened in 1960 and my mom use to us there as kids just 6 and 7 years old. We always get the Steak and Onion Hogie. I now live in Phoenix...Metro but EVERY time we pass by Tucson, we stop and order 2 36” subs to eat over the next few days. We have them keep the oil to the side so the bread doesn’t get soggy. Now my kids are hooked so that’s three generations! Hope you always stay in business!More

We have been visiting this place most Mondays for close to two years. On Monday they have all of their 9 inch sandwiches for the low, low price of $6.75. I always get the Carmichael minus onions, plus black olives. My husband occasionally gets some...of the other sandwiches but most often sticks with the Carmichael with onions, no olives. He's never had a sandwich he didn't like. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious. Always overstuffed. The toppings are fresh and the bread is soft and also fresh. They are next door to the (IMO) overrated Guero Canelo which is always crowded though I don't know why, but HH deserves to be just as crowded. Do yourself a favor and give Hogie House a try, especially on Monday. I don't think you'll regret it. Another plus, it's locally owned, not a chain.More

It sure has been way sooo long since I've eaten at Hoagie house. I had been craving a cheesesteak for a minute, so I decided to stop on in to see if it still had that great tastes I grew up on. 😕 This location...was very clean, the food they were cooking/making smelled very good.🤗 I got the 12 inch cheesesteak with mayonnaise instead of oil. The price/value I paid for my food was good. The tastes of my food, was no where close to what I remembered growing up.😔 I will not order another cheesesteak from here, but I'd definitely be back to try other menu items. We really love the fact that they are family owned & operated, plus they donate to the "no kill" animal shelter. 🐶🐈🐕🐱 Its too early to say our family recommends Hoagie House, but we'll definitely return to get some hoagies!!👍🏾👍🏾More

I stopped for lunch, bought the SIX inch Carmichael sandwich. It set me back $6.23. For that price I expected better quality meats. The cheese was that rubber textured sliced cheese that you have to peel the wrapper off. For the price, I expected better....I had been here several years before and remembered this place as having better sandwiches. Maybe the other sandwiches are better but I would not get the Carmichael again. On the plus side, the man at the counter was nice.More

This is another place I've been eating at for 20 years or so. Their subs are fabulous. I prefer the Italian with everything on it. It is a chain but, I think only in Tucson and I'm sure they started here. I know of two...locations but, they probably have many more. I come from Columbus and their subs taste like Columbus subs. Try it you'll like it!More
