I m leaving town to go back to Hawaii and this was going to be a Sushi blowout. Unfortunately, there was a anniversary party, big, and our orders came in spurts. Eat and wait and eat and wait and eat doesn't work. They knew they had a big group coming, so be ready. We should not suffer because of that.... More

My husband and I took our son to Takamatsu for his very first experience with real sushi, not the type you buy in a grocery store bin. We've been there multiple times and this time was no different. The chefs prepped our dishes in a timely manner and were careful to explain to him exactly what each item consisted of.... More

Takamatsu peeps, this is unfortunate. We had been eating sushi with you guys since before the fire, but as of today have made the decision not to go back. Your service is the worse we've had - ever, even for your standards. We spent 2 hours and 45 minutes there - NOT because we were eating and enjoying, rather we... More

Ive been going to takamatsu since before the fire and when korean food was not heard of by most people of Tucson and their only competetion being Seoul Kitchen. Times has changed. Food was good, bad, and now pretty decent. Customer service gets worse by the minute and food is way over priced! I'm a Korean who grew up in... More

Very cool spot that serves some traditional Japanese food and excellent choices of classic sushi. The sushi rolls are very tasty. They serve several udon noodle bowls that do not disappoint.

Omg I love takamatsu. Ive been coming here for years with clients from the gem show. Lately the barbecue had been perfect. We all love coming for dinner.

My friends liked their meals ok but, the Sushi left a lot to be desired. The service was pretty slow. How long does it take to serve uncooked food? I probably won't be back.

Great meal, great service. We've eaten Korean food all over the US and Korea and this is some of the best. We've visited many times and it's always good.

Hands down-this is the worst food I have eaten across America. Oh dear god, I almost vomit thinking about it. The servers are rude and insolent and the soup-I ordered the vegetable soup with Udon noodles--was horrible. The noodles and veggies were way overcooked and the broth tasted like dirty dishwater-bubbles included. I also ordered the egg rolls as an... More
