Bobo’s is a small diner that offers gigantic portions of breakfast items for very reasonable prices. Pancakes for example are larger than the plates they are served on. My wife ordered a short stack thinking it would be manageable - boy, was she in for a shock. She was only able to eat 1/2 of a pancake. I had a flying saucer. That is one mammoth pancake covered with spinach, spices, and 2 cheeses. I fared better than my wife, successfully eating 3/4 of the dish.
If you want breakfast in Tucson, go to Bobo’s, but go hungry!

Went in for breakfast there because our youngest daughter's nickname is BoBo. We sit at the counter because the place was packed. We visited with the owners granddaughter and the cooks, while we were watchinng them cooking. /The food was served promptk]ly and it was hot and good. It was also our 50th wedding anniversary, so the choice was excellent.

I don't know if I've ever eaten at a place that has had such good value as this. A huge pancake, two eggs, two bacons, and two sausages for less than $10, it's awesome. There was a small wait to be seated on a Tuesday morning but it wasn't bad at all. Service was great, my food came out pretty fast. My coffee was constantly being refilled. It was great.

Based on Trip Advisor reviews we decided to visit this local establishment. We had an almost hour long wait on a Friday morning, but it is snowbird season. It was everything we had hoped for. Local feel and there were locals dining there as well as tourists. Very nice and prompt service.
I had one blueberry pancake and that was enough for me. Huge and delicious. My husband had a combo breakfast and opted for the pancake with his meal. They have daily special very early in the morning and senior specials all day. We would return if we were in Tucson again.

Food was good, well priced and plentiful! The pancake was so enormous it covered the dinner-size plate and hung over the sides. Easily enough for two. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant is tiny inside but since it was still early (before 8 am.) we didn't need to wait long. The only downside is that the fans need cleaning. They were encrusted with dust.

Wow! What can I say??? Love Tucson’s restaurants and Trip Advisor! We had nothing but great eats and a good time while in Tucson this Presidents’ weekend. We ate every meal out and thanks to Trip Advisor, every meal was a great choice. This morning was Bobo’s. Had I not been using Trip Advisor I would have never chosen/notices this place just driving by. But what a great place! Friendly staff, excellent food and great service. Our group of 4 enjoys meat dishes as well as vegetarian, they had both. I really liked their potatoes moist, yet crispy. My husband and I shared the Ruben omelette;it was wonderful! We did that so we could split one of their apple pancakes. (A suggestion our server made.) It was a great idea. They placed the pancake in the middle like an appetizer and we split it 4 ways. No syrup needed! Again…AMAZING! Oh, also a side note very good coffee. Important to all of us in our group. This one is a keeper! We will be back!

We had business in Tucson this morning and wanted to try this restaurant that we had seen a review on. Parking is good, place is small and I imagine the wait could be considerable. We arrived about 10am after the first/second seating and still waited about 20 minutes. Interior is old, food was adequate, service was good and the experience was unexceptional. We can say we've been there but won't be going back.

This place is a nice simple breakfast bar. Nothing fancy, but everything that fills the need of comfort food. Staff is friendly and down to earth. Food is plentiful and the hardest part is deciding what you want to eat.

So much delicious food for great prices! We got the biscuits n gravy and the apple pancakes - everything was delicious. We were so surprised to see how much food was on our plates. If you order pancakes, consider just 1 unless you eat a lot - I was full after 1/2!! The staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend to anybody looking to support a small business.

My wife and I visited Bobo’s based on a recommendation from our hotel and we weren’t disappointed. We had to wait a bit, but were rewarded with a great meal. Service was good and food was great. I had a western omelette and my wife had a couple eggs, bacon & biscuit. I’ll go again when I’m in town.

When in Tucson, do like the Roman's do - EAT BREAKFAST AT BOBO'S! Looks like any other 'Mom n Pop' diner, but it juuuuuust isn't. The food is excellent, but it's the service that really makes you want to come back. I don't even know how to describe their niche of friendliness. But I can't imagine any customer leaving without a full stomach and a genuine smile on their face.

Yikes. Not sure what happened, and should have looked at my bill (or ordered from the Senior Menu), but somehow the 2 eggs w/ bacon, a slice of French toast (looked inedible) and a cup of coffee AND cup of milk (never done that before) came to $23.45 — $27 with tip. Took the French toast and potatoes home for my neighbor, and will not be back. There was nothing memorable about this meal but that I can’t afford that kind of expense. Guess my dining out days are over.
For just a few dollars more, I could have dined at the Marriott Star Pass.

Service was outstanding. Came on a late Friday morning and they were busy but still attentive and helpful. Those Apple pancakes are a treat. I will come back for that alone. Coffee is also on point. Yes-from the outside maybe not the most attractive but I highly recommend not judging by appearance.

I went with my husband because we read about this place and we assumed, since people are willing to stand in line it must be good. We signed up and stood outside amongst the others waiting. There was a terrible odor…like dumpster or something foul. After 10 min waiting the stink made me feel sick and we left. I can not fathom to still wanting to eat after standing in this stench for half an hour. The food and service might be top but we didn’t make it. I would not go back.

Small, local diner. Definitely worth the wait. The wait staff was awesome. My omelet was made exactly as I requested and everyone else in our party chowed down. We like to give our business to locally owned businesses and this place will be a repeat for sure. You will not leave hungry!
