Café Poca Cosa was truly a treat! From the servers to the food to the ambience, this is a place you don't want to miss if you happen to be in Tucson. The incredible chef puts a unique twist on traditional Mexican dishes and the result is spectacular! If you find yourself in Tucson, treat yourself to some Cafe Poca... More

I stopped in solo for lunch and this may very well be the best upscale Mexican restaurant I have ever visited. The service was great and the food delicious and beautiful!

Café Poca Cosa is a wonderfully run restaurant with knowledgable, friendly servers, and wonderful cuisine. The menu is presented by your server on a hand-held chalkboard. The menu is not extensive, but usually consists of a few meat items, a fish or two, a vegetarian option, or the chef's choice of 3 smaller items. The spice level runs from mild... More

I have been patronizing Poca Cosa ever since it started out as a tiny hole-in-the-wall on Scott Ave. The food, which I would describe as creative haute-Mexican, is always excellent and the presentation nothing short of artistic. 25 years ago PC was my place to go during my lunch hour at work. Now it is where I bring out of... More

I was looking forward to our visit to this restaurant as it was very highly rated. We phoned for a reservation on Friday but could not get in until Saturday evening. We arrived with great expectations in what was very elegant decor and were seated in uncomfortable tables jammed together. I ordered a draft beer and was told they only... More

Cafe Poca Cosa has the most delicious food in all of Tucson. Go for lunch and it's half the price. Definitely get the "Plato Poca Cosa" so you can try a little bit of everything because every dish I've ever had there is amazing. You get a ton of food and it's all so fresh and unique!

We were visiting friends, and they really wanted us to try this Southwestern restaurant, and we weren't disappointed. As soon as we were seated a hostess told us the water, chips and salsa would be arriving shortly, and they did within a minute. I know this is common fare for Southwestern cuisine, but the chips were oven-warmed and the salsa... More

Nice decor, huge plates filled with all kinds of things. Awesome margaritas, the meat on the plate was good, the 80% of the plate covered in different fruits and vegetables was just tasteless filler. Good plates to take pictures of and post on Facebook, looks like an artist put the plate together.

Amazing flavorful food. I really like the tamale pie and chicken mole negro. The daily plate is a great option to taste a couple of dishes. Dynamite margaritas as well, and the rice beans and salsa are so good - you don't even need the proteins. Don't miss on your trip to Tucson !

Cafe Poca Cosa came highly recommended from a local friend who insisted it was one of her favorite restaurants in town. The menu changes daily, but always includes the Plato Poca Cosa which is the chef's choice of three of the daily menu items. It was way more food than I could eat on my on, but each samples dish...
