I have always loved this Italian spot, in spite of the fact that it is all the way across town for me. My birthday party was in a quiet private room, service was spectacular, and the food was superb. Everyone was pleased with his/her menu choice. My personal favorite is the eggplant. Not breaded or fried, but baked to bubbly... More

Been there several times for their happy hour. Great pizza, Lamb chop lollipops are super as is the fried goat cheese. The bar maid is superior, A great find.

The atmosphere and decor were nicely done but the food reigns supreme. Visiting with out of town guests made this first time visit a little bit of a risk, but worth it. I can start with the rolls which looked a little like cinnamon rolls but were soft and warm dinner rolls. The flatbread bruschetta was good and then the... More

Just like a recent reviewer, we have always enjoyed this restaurant and have given it good reviews, but tonight I can not... Veal piccata has always been a favorite from here... Tonight all of our veal dishes were tuff and not pounded. Someone needs to teach the cooks how to prepare veal. Our dishes were terrible. No spinach, but bitter... More

Michelangelo's was the place we chose to have a dinner the night before my daughter's wedding. We had 14 guests and they gave us a room with a beautiful view of the Catalina mountains. The cloth-covered tables were nicely appointed. We chose to have two appetizer plates. They included a variety of cheeses, prosciutto, ham, fresh mozzarella, and bread. We... More

Michelangelo was a favorite spot to enjoy dinner with friends. The friends wife enjoyed the same dish I did, Veal Piccata. She got it with the fettuccini Alfredo and I always requested replacing the pasta with sauteed spinach. Well they changed over to kale which was almost inedible. The veal, when it came seemed overly thick and unpounded. Our friends... More

My date and I made reservations through a popular app and when we arrived we were placed in the far corner of the restaurant next to a 13 seated unoccupied table. I was first peeved at the waitress go to the table accross from us 3 times and never acknowledging us. We asked the buser, another waiter, and then one... More

Booked reservation by phone two weeks in advance for Mothers' Day Brunch. Was able to get a reservation at the time of my choosing and was called a day before to confirm the reservation. We arrived early, but they sat us at our table immediately without any issue. I doubt there are any bad tables in this spacious restaurant. The... More

It is very difficult to find good Italian food in Tucson, so I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the food at Michelangelo's. All three of us loved our appetizers, salads, main courses, and deserts. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is nice. Our waitress was fantastic. I cannot say even one negative thing. I will definitely be back.

We asked to sit outside because it was a beautiful evening. We were alone on a small patio. Our waiter was personable and friendly. We ordered the pork special, which was incredible. The pasta that came with it was OK. All in all, an enjoyable evening.
