Good Chinese food in southern Arizona is rare. Cheng's Beijing was one of the better ones but has slipped a bit. We regularly order their mu shu, whether in restaurant or to go. Recently they stopped serving it with plum sauce (a must!) and switched to hoisin sauce. The takeout order now comes with packaged hoisin that had the thickness of 90 wt gear lube out of the freezer and was totally inedible. So until they return to plum sauce we'll not be happy.
They have also significantly raised their prices, reducing value.

If you love Long Green Beans with white rice, this is the place to call for take out. Tender green beans in a garlic white wine vinegar....crispy and oh so yummy! The hubby gravitates to their Sweet & Sour Chicken and says the batter that the chicken chunks are deep fried in, is superb. So bummed we couldn't dine in, but to COVID-19, I had to miss the fabulous plum wine they serve. Hmmm.....I wonder if they do bottle take out. :-) Give this place a try. Easy peasy take out ordering and its ready in a snap.

We enjoy Chinese food and found this restaurant through very good reviews. We were not disppointed. We did a take-out order and were greeted by a very friendly woman. Our order was prepared very quickly. Our food was abundant and excellent. Highly recommend.

Hadn't been to this place in a long time, remembered it being pretty good. Our outing the other night was a disappointment. We ordered crispy orange beef but it was anything but crispy, more mushy and bland, no taste of orange. The egg rolls were from cheap restaurant distributor, small, greasy and way overpriced. Our friends meals all seemed mediocre. The biggest complaint was that we had barely started our appetizers when we were served with our entrees. Very mediocre food that was overpriced. Service was good but we won't be back.

Service was initially brusk but we figured that’s not unusual in Asia. But continued to be rather inattentive.. Food was meh - Laksa was rather tasteless with spaghetti rather than advertised vermicelli with no real hint of curry. Thai Green Chicken Curry was a similarly experience. Appetizer fried spring rolls were greasy.
Perhaps the first clue was a Chinese restaurant trying to add Vietnamese, Thai and Singaporean and doing nothing well. If we return we’ll try to stick with Chinese items.

Check your takeout order before you leave. I ordered a shrimp dish and was charged the shrimp upcharge. When I got home I discovered chicken.

This was our first visit to Cheng's Beljing's. We have really been missing their great variety of Asain food. They have an extensive menu and even serve PHO! And reasonable prices.

Stopped in for a quick dinner. Lady and the husband were working their butts off! Place was busy and they pulled it off quite well! Soup was great as was the chicken and rice!!

The food was almost entirely ready for pickup at the designated pickup time, with only the last dish being finished up in the kitchen. We enjoyed every dish. I only rated them 4 out 5 stars because our prior visit was not as good---the regular cook had called in sick, so apparently a backup chef prepared the food.

I just moved to town this is the first restaurant I tried based on my friends recommendation. We both had the lunch specials and both of us enjoyed our meal. It’s a lot of food for a good price.

We were late arrivals (8:15) at this local low-key spot and there were no customers. But we were graciously greeted and seated. We did make our selections quickly and the food arrived fresh and hot - not something reheated from the back of the stove. I enjoyed a chicken pho (had to ask for bean sprouts, but they came out quickly), and my husband had a spicy noodle dish. Both were great and we drank green tea and were quite happy.

This small unassuming restaurant in a strip mall off of Oracle is an amazing find. The lunch specials were terrific. The service was excellent and the prices were more than fair. The restaurant was immaculate.

restaurant was very clean. Husband had chicken lo mein and I had mongolian beef. Very fresh flavor and good. Nothing comes with it. No soup or crispy won tons with sweet and sour. We will eat there again.

Looking for good Asian food? This restaurant offers Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese cusines. Flavorffu, not salty or greasy. Prices are reasonable. Service is quick. Ambiance is low.
