I recently visited Tucson and realized that I'd never had a tamale before. I googled "best mexican restaurants in Tucson" and this one was on a top-10 list. I must say, the lady at the register was SO incredibly patient and helpful. She explained everything to me. I got three tamales: beef, pork, and chicken. I thought they seemed a... More

They have a huge variety to choose from which is nice. Don't get me wrong their tamales were not bad but I have been to several other local Mexican restaurants and their food would put you guys to shame. Friendly staff!

Tamales aren't just for Christmas! You can have them any day! The beef and corn tamales are awesome! They don't last at my house! So make sure you buy more than a dozen and you can even freeze them for a rainy day! Delicioso!

Good selection of meats n flavors- but always some out of stock. Employees were more interested in raggin on mgt than prepping food and making sure we all had drinks & utensils. The flavors are made in batches and at least some of them are frozen. Make sure yours is warm through amd through. Beer was cold but team not... More

Not always the best in town but good consistent tamales of all varieties. Worth trying. One branch is close to university of Arizona.

I love this place funky but great food especially the vegan tamales. The salads are wonderful and the green salsa delicious.

Dine in or take out, the Tucson Tamale Company serves great gourmet tamales. Excellent selection with seasonal favorites. Fast, friendly service on site. Oracle's our stop but apparently "the company" now has three locations. With so many choices available, we like to add one new flavor to our order every time we visit.

All meat tamales were wonderfully moist and full of flavor. Green corn tamale much different than I was used to it was ok but I prefer the traditional green corn masa with green chili strips. Counter service only.

If you can't (or won't) make your own tamales, this place has you covered with a rainbow of tamale flavors. My favorite is the Santa Fe style, but have tried several flavors on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. Yes, they are a little pricey for the size, but the deep flavor makes up for most if it. Often... More
