I had a pastrami Reuben. Wife had a Cubano sandwich and Soup. Companion had a salad. All were excellent. We ate late and there was not problem getting in or getting served. Sunny day so we ate outside. Large patio with many tables and chairs.
We always stop by when we are in town. It seems the quality of the food has dropped somewhat. Can't put my finger on what changed, it was just so so. The staff is lovely and many have been there for quite sometime.
Wow! Fantastic dinner! The foil gras was wonderful, decadent and delicate at the same time, the combination with peanuts was amazing.

although downtown it is a very quiet lovely place to find a city retreat with great fresh food and a great variety of drink. Enjoy the quiet and the lovely staff as you unwind and get recharged near the historic train track.
If you like upscale, unique and well prepared food, you may enjoy Maynards. Beignets and monkey bread with cappuccino make a nice starter, and just add you choice of entree.
