Revolutionary Grounds is a bookstore/cafe/community gathering place. A small storefront on hip N. Fourth Ave. in Tucson, I heard about it for several years before I actually had the chance to go there myself. It was worth the wait. First, the books: The owner, Joy Soler, has curated an absolutely amazing selection of radical left books on any subject you... More

Great place for coffee, rebellions, books, gay folks and basil lemonade! Never tried the menu items.

Nice meal, excellent servie and pleasantly suprised by the gentrification of Walsal town centre. The team at this Bella worked really hard to make us feel welcome and were paient and understanding with my Father in Law who can be a grumpy old fart at the best of times.

If you're looking for leftist campaign materials and information, then this is your place. It's got a well-developed library and a lot of resources for the social activist. Coffee was good and I really enjoyed the homemade hummus.

This is the perfect spot to catch up on some work and reload on caffeine. Very welcoming and good iced lattes. We brought our dogs and used the wifi for a bit. Can't wait to try lunch!

Really first visited March, 2010. Revolutionary Grounds is everything an activist desires - compatible, yet intellectually challenging, people; focused books for sale; excellent fair trade coffee and tea; adept and pleasant people to talk to; newspapers and posters about social justice events Went back many times during our stay in Tucson. Owners and operators are engaged and active in the... More

Being a self confessed coffee snob nothing jumps around my synapses more than a good cup of coffee. When I heard that the owners of Revolutionary Grounds were going to open a book store/coffee shop I expected that the coffee would be as revolutionary as the idea of a leftist book store. I wasn’t disappointed one bit. The coffee choices... More

My first thought was "I need a cup of coffee", but when I walked through the door at Revolutionary Grounds I could smell soup cooking and saw a wall lined with wonderful books. Revolutionary Grounds is much more than just a fabulous cup of coffee. The coffee is wonderful with as many choices as any chain coffee house, but what... More
