We were seated in their wine cellar which was cozy and private. The wait staff was the best we have had. Food was fantastic especially the rigatoni. You can't go wrong at Gracie's.

Recently had a great pre- theater dinner at Gracie's - areal gem in a city full of top-notch restaurants. Truly fine dining in a small unpretentious setting. Knowledgable wait staff and seamless service.

This is our second dinner at Gracie's; we returned because the restaurant is terrific. We stop in Providence on our way to Martha's Vineyard. My wife had the tomato salad and the scallops. I had the green salad and the pasta. The food is carefully prepared, the ambiance intimate, and the wait staff attentive without being officious. Without the slightest... More

We enjoyed the three course meal. Selection of salads, including a great tomato salad. Entrees included duck, cod, vegetarian entrees. All beautifully plated and presented. Nice extras served between courses. The breads were unique and fantastic. Desserts included a key lime; creme brûlée, zucchini bread with a dab of fresh cinnamon ice cream. A fantastic evening.

Went to Gracie's for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. We sampled several items on the menu and all were delicious. Only the sweetbreads disappointed a bit...fried and not crispy, but otherwise very good. We had an excellent wine pairing with our dinner and enjoyed a long and relaxed meal with very attentive service. Only complaint was no... More

Gracie's has perfected fine dining. The food is fresh -- they have their own terrace garden for herbs. The meal was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. It is a special occasion dining restaurant since it is on the pricey side. However, it is well worth it. Reservations are a must or you may be waiting for a... More

We celebrated my mother's 75th birthday here. According to her and Dad this was the nicest restaurant they'd ever visited. Definitely a fine dining experience, w full bar, great wine list and excellent service. They've since treated themselves and enjoyed another wonderful night.

Very good food for discerning tastes. Nice bar menu & pairings. Enjoyed the cocktail (Blacklist) and bartender (Sam). Would definitely visit again when in town and intentionally choose bar top seating!

Established in 1998, Gracie’s was founded with a vision to offer fine food and personal attention to all. Started on Providence’s Federal Hill, Gracie’s quickly outgrew its 30-seat location and moved to the Downcity Theater District in 2005. The new space offers a cozy wine room, a stunning private dining room and greater seating capacity. Although Gracie’s has grown in size it remains true to it’s mission -- to create a warm environment, and to surprise, excite and educate the palate.
