Went to Gracie's for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. We sampled several items on the menu and all were delicious. Only the sweetbreads disappointed a bit...fried and not crispy, but otherwise very good. We had an excellent wine pairing with our dinner and enjoyed a long and relaxed meal with very attentive service. Only complaint was no... More

Gracie's has perfected fine dining. The food is fresh -- they have their own terrace garden for herbs. The meal was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. It is a special occasion dining restaurant since it is on the pricey side. However, it is well worth it. Reservations are a must or you may be waiting for a... More

We celebrated my mother's 75th birthday here. According to her and Dad this was the nicest restaurant they'd ever visited. Definitely a fine dining experience, w full bar, great wine list and excellent service. They've since treated themselves and enjoyed another wonderful night.

Very good food for discerning tastes. Nice bar menu & pairings. Enjoyed the cocktail (Blacklist) and bartender (Sam). Would definitely visit again when in town and intentionally choose bar top seating!

My wife and I had a bit of a wait as we tried to reserve a table here. We finally went on my wife's birthday and could not have been happier. Every plat had fresh, flavorful, well balanced and interesting flavors. It is our new favorite Providence dining spot. Really well done.

I had a great meal with most unusual and welcome spices and flavors. It was a truly delightful experience. The ambiance was very upscale as was the service. It is by far not a standard menu or flavors. The kitchen was also extremely willing to accommodate all of our food needs including special hot rolls for the one person in... More

Everything about this restaurant was superb from beginning to end. It was a little loud but otherwise excellent. Food outstanding!

We've been here about half a dozen times, and the food is always good to very good. What really annoys me about this restaurant is that the service is so pretentious. It really spoils the experience for me.

This fine dining restaurant has it all - excellent food quality, perfect accompaniments, modern creativity and combinations that actually work, beautiful presentations, a thoughtful and knowledgeable sommelier, and attentive service. We chose the special 3 course restaurant week menu with wine pairings which offered three or four choices in each appetizer, entree and dessert category. We chose the Cucumber salad,... More

We had a great time at this restaurant which offer great food and very friendly service. We eat on a high table at the bar and enjoyed every minutes. We also had two bottles of great inexpensive wine.

Established in 1998, Gracie’s was founded with a vision to offer fine food and personal attention to all. Started on Providence’s Federal Hill, Gracie’s quickly outgrew its 30-seat location and moved to the Downcity Theater District in 2005. The new space offers a cozy wine room, a stunning private dining room and greater seating capacity. Although Gracie’s has grown in size it remains true to it’s mission -- to create a warm environment, and to surprise, excite and educate the palate.
