We had the best meal at Gracie's, what a special treat. The ambience is incredible as is the service and the food is spectacular. Exquisitely prepared, interesting and delicious.
I went to Gracie's on a Sunday night. The food was delicious. The service was wanting. The second bottle of wine was thrown into the wine bucket and wine server scurried off when I told the server the wine needed to chill a bit more...before it was served. When I asked a second server we were ready for the wine I was told it wasn't that server's job. When the check arrived printed on the bottom of the bill a serving charge was already added to the bill.More
The 5-course menu is good, and sometimes even very good, but offers little in terms of personality. A tasting menu should be the love child of the chef, and Gracie's was more the legitimate offspring of an arranged marriage: well-behaved and respectable, but not a...product of passion (one outliner was the squash that came with the duck course, it was probably the highlight of the meal). Nevertheless, everything was tasty, and if it were ~30% cheaper it would be a good option for a straight-forward, quality dinner. If I go again, I would probably order from the a-la-carte. Service was excellent, friendly, but not overbearing. Very professional. Well-portioned courses, well-paced presentation. The entire evening was enjoyable, and everything in the front of house was very well-done. This is a good spot for those who enjoy the ceremony of "fine-dining", and are not looking for culinary adventure.More
5 course tasting menu was spectacular. Every course delicious and complemented each other re different flavors and textures. A really wonderfully crafted tasting menu. Wine list has some good value options and not just special occasion ones which is always appreciated. All the staff were...welcoming, friendly and attentive. Ambiance is stylish but comfortable. A wonderful place to spend an evening.More
Ambiance, impeccable service, stringent covid protocols. Our food was beautifully plated and it tasted amazing as well, especially the rigatoni and the duck. We shared a bottle of wine that our server recommended to us. It was a truly wonderful experience.
If you feel like spending a mortgage payment for your dinner to only end up still leaving hungry, this is the place to visit. Portion sizes are way too small. Prices are way too high. Worst of all, no flavor to your meal to justify...evening coming here. Bland and boring. Only giving 2 stars because the waitress was nice.More
Folk's this is another place we stopped by while bar hopping during our stay. This place has outside sitting or standing tables to have drinks if you decide to stay outside. I decided to walk inside and look around and I must say this place...is very clean, the staff is very professional and polite and the drinks were good. This place is a walking distance to many other in the area. the streets were quiet, clean and safe, so stop by and enjoy yourself a meal or just drinks.More
I say experience because it’s not all about the food. From the moment we walked in to the time we left everyone was fantastic. It was my wife’s birthday, and she has a Gluten allergy. When we asked our server, Elizabeth, she said that was...her job to worry about GF, not my wife’s. And she should order what she wants! We especially liked their online menu. You could bookmark items you liked so you didn’t have to scroll back on your phone to find it. It was a big help with their huge wine list. Oh yeah, the food was delicious too!More
This was my second time visiting Gracie’s and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and the staff did such a great job making us feel special. The food is always top notch and we are never disappointed. I decided...to try foie gras for the first time and it was AMAZING. Just melt in your mouth deliciousness! The creativity and attention to detail of each dish has amazed me each time we’ve visited. I can’t wait to go back!More
The ambiance is stunning; the service perfect; the food outstanding. I will return there every time I visit Providence.
As we were making plans for a small family celebration, I was excited to see that Gracie’s has re-opened. Gracie’s is easily our favorite Providence restaurant because the food is amazing, the presentation is beautiful, and the service is exceptional. All those things remain true...at Gracie’s during the pandemic and on top of that, robust COVID safety measures for the protection of guests and staff are clearly in place and comforting. The thing that prevented me from giving a no-brainer 5-star rating was the comically small portion sizes. We have had the pre fixe menu in the past and were always satisfied, but the child-size portions served this time left us all wanting for more. It’s an expensive meal and we knew that going in, but this is the first time that my dining experience at Gracie’s was not worth the price. I’m sure they are under pressure to control costs under COVID restrictions, but I won’t be back until I am confident that I won’t leave hungry.More
Enjoyed the 4 course chef’s choice menu with wine pairing. Food was amazing and service was spot on!!
Made last minute reservations after an event at the Dunkin Center. Well worth every penny. Started with warm olives. Which give them an intense but mellow flavors. My husband had the celery root souup which he raves about. I had the beet salad Agassi. With...some many textures and tastes. Our mains were duck and scallops. Both outstanding. Wines perfectly paired with entrees. Desserts were the grapefruit and and the chocolate dish. Which had some many flavors and textures including ginger Really excellent. Great value for the quality of food and serviceMore

The waiter was very kind and explained his choices of wine with the plate. One of the ebst plate in this part of the town!More
